The father of the Muslim teen arrested last year after bringing a homemade clock to school claims in a new lawsuit that Glenn Beck and Fox News, among others, made false and damaging statements about his son. Mohamed Mohamed filed the defamation suit on behalf of himself and his son, Ahmed Mohamed, late last week, NBCDFW reported. Last September, Irving, Texas, police charged then 14-year-old Ahmed Mohamed with having a "hoax bomb" after the student brought a homemade digital clock to school. The school suspended Mohamed for three days, though police eventually dropped the charge.

A suburban Dallas school district has sued the state of Texas to prevent the release of details of a federal investigation into the arrest of a student who brought a homemade clock to class that was seen as a possible bomb. The Texas attorney general's office earlier this month ordered the Irving school district to provide a copy of the U.S. Department of Justice letter to The Dallas Morning News. Instead, the district on Thursday sued to prevent the release of the multi-page letter, which outlined allegations of "discipline of students on the basis of race, religion and national origin,"...

A north Texas mosque, near the home of “Clock Boy” Ahmed, was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in United States history. The judge found there was ample evidence that the mosque, the Islamic Association of North Texas, assisted the Holy Land Foundation in funding millions of dollars to a Palestinian military terrorist organization that has killed Israeli children. The Richardson, Texas, mosque, also known as the Dallas Central Mosque, was set up largely for the purpose of funding Hamas and terrorist activities by funding the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF). The...

The family of the 14-year-old Muslim boy who was led out of school in handcuffs has hired attorneys to get back the homemade clock that administrators mistook for a bomb. Ahmed Mohamed was suspended after showing his clock to a teacher at his Irving, Texas, high school last week. His case sparked an outcry on social media and attracted the attention of President Obama and a number of tech companies who invited Ahmed to visit. His family said in a statement Wednesday that it had pulled Ahmed and his two siblings out of the Irving school district "because of religious...

The infamous Irving Texas clock--challenging the story's foundation (20 second VIDEO)

The original story was about a controversial package in a school setting, but it was quickly claimed to be a homemade clock. If so, the clock itself (not the presentation) might be cool as the White House said. If not, the world may be propping up a plagiarist who flaunted the piece of crap in an intentionally controversial way (suppositions). This video challenges that the clock was homemade by showing a nearly identical package being prepared in about twenty seconds (screws and simple fasteners were excluded for brevity here). [please see brief 20 second video at link]

Texas police will review decisions made when a Muslim teenager was taken away in handcuffs after high school staff mistook his homemade clock for a bomb, the Irving police chief said on Friday. "One thing is clear to me, regardless of what we did, no matter what decision was made, there would've been people who agreed with it and people who disagreed with it," police Chief Larry Boyd told CNN. The bespectacled ninth grader in a NASA T-shirt was led away in handcuffs from MacArthur High School on Monday after school officials discovered the clock. By Wednesday, the Dallas-area student...
