I was building some buildings for the Army at Leonard Wood a dozen years back. A bank robber from Oklahoma crossing Missouri took a highway spur by accident and it ended at an entry gate. As his long guns were laying on the back seat he decided to run the gate. The pop-up barrier was being worked on so he drove right in. The was a MO sheriff convention on the fort that day. Sure, you can one-off anything. But a serviceable half dozon takes trained mechanics, parts supply, trained pilots at a three to one ration, crew chiefs, proper support equipment etcetera. They don’t have a proper simulator that I am aware of in existence. Allow two years for that to be designed and built. (I’ve built them).
