What a mystery, another place where polygonal masonry shows up. These islanders copied or came up with the techniques mastered by the Egyptians, Hindus, Japanese, and Incas.
We took a tour of the place a few years ago with the Cub Scouts, it was very interesting. The rolls of paper were massive and the guy giving the tour said that the rolls, if caught on fire, would be the last to burn because they are wrapped so tightly.
The tall blue tower on the right side with the black top had a great buffet in the 80’s called the Orion Room. It was on the 50th floor and I remember eating 10 chocolate mousse desserts one Sunday after church up there while overlooking the parents and grandparents of this blue haired generation.
