Politico lost its Get-Trump Hopium on the Epstein files when its most TDS reporter admitted that those files probably won't harm Trump. But don't worry. Politico will continue looking for other ways to Get-Trump, just not with the Epstein files although they tried really really hard until now.

Whatever happened to that old FBI that could identify the manufacturer of every bomb component, track down the shipment numbers and find the point of sale of each component ( or at least some of them) , track the maker of tape used, etc, swab everything for DNA and carpet fibers, pollen and pet hair, and at least get an idea of which Home Depots and Amazon outlets the bombmaker likes to buy from?
That FBI existed when it came to using cell tower data to track down each and every grandma who so much as stepped one foot into the Capitol building at the invitation of the Capitol police. However, the one and ONLY ONE cell phone data they could not track was the pipe bomber's cell phone because they told us it was mysteriously "corrupted."
Speaking of rogue former CIA Directors, I still can't get it out of my head that on the afternoon of July 13 last year, former CIA Director Mike Pompeo was telling Iowa delegates at the GOP convention that he would be chosen as the VP candidate on a ticket with Nikki Haley at the top.
