Certainly not. The Trump of 1916 no longer exists. We now have a Trump hardened and at war with the forces of darkness that have assaulted him since 2016. He has been impeached an insane number of times and had a magnificent election stolen from him by a cabal of politicians, operatives, crooks, and corrupt cowardly judges. He has been the target of an endless parade of criminal investigations.
The man has not been given one day of peace. His family has been assaulted. His supporters are in jail by the thousands. He has been driven to have but one way out. He must be at war with his enemies.
I know, as do those who love him, that the war he fights is for the soul of our nation. I will grant him moments of bitterness. It is astounding to me that he is able to maintain a positive, hopeful vision and a desire to purge our nation of its corruption.
Amen and thank you for this simple, sweet lesson I learned as a young child. How often have I thought myself strong enough to withstand sin? As often as I have been wrong. Sin has burdened me not with carrying the burden of sin for I am forgiven, but darkening my spirit in the eyes of others who saw my sin before me and knew my pride and arrogance.
Yes, by all means go after the guns used in school shootings. The war like slaughter of inner city residents in every major city in the nation is, however, of no concern to Biden and his gun grabbers. They wish only to rid white communities of guns. Blacks, they believe, are too busy killing each other to stand up to the thuggery of government.
She will have a much more difficult time dismissing Black American Christian culture. It is deeper, stronger, and much less accepting of homosexuality.
Raskin is everything that is wrong about Maryland politics. It stinks with a corruption that rises to a stench that cannot, it seems, cross the Bay. The Easter Shore, by any standard a separate state, considers Raskin and his rat pals on the same level as the pollution that has assaulted our beautiful waters. We need a way to rid ourselves of these vile vultures.
Lack of theology of sanctification and deficient Christology are the diseases.
You are precisely correct. Confession and sanctification have been utterly lost in the United Methodist Church. John Wesley has been spinning in his grave for decades.
There are protocols that allow the congregation to keep their facilities. I am certain this body understood the process clearly enough to protect their holdings.
Within this calendar year a minimum of 50% of United Methodist churches will disassociate from the denomination. This is about the ordination of homosexuals and their marriages. The conflict, however, goes much deeper.
For many decades the administrative authority of the UMC has been secularized, dismissing the authority of scripture and the centrality of the Body of Christ. Membership has long languished in its enslavement by an episcopacy that has disregarded their concerns.
