Good points...While I respect others' choices in well kept and disciplined pets, I am often amazed at how they pamper them. But, to be fair, I am very considerate of and always pamper my Redhawk, Anaconda, and Python. /s
I once admired to play poker with fuming opponents...MTG's heart is in the right place, but her head is often hot to raise the pot when circumstances urge caution.
Speaker Johnson will be taken care of, one way or another, after Nov..We can't afford internecine distractions, now. The coming election takes precedence.
The vacuous, indolent masses are frequently jealous of the successful elements of society. The more productive, flourishing segments are subject to the hatred and envy of scum mired in false beliefs and laziness
The amount of time and energy required to pay for extravagant homes, vehicles, an ever increasing number of "new and improved" unnecessary goods and services etc. have blunted the majority's regard for the principles upon which the nation was founded.
Add to the above the expense of paying for a constantly growing nonproductive underclass bribed with handouts for their votes, and only one outcome seems possible...Disaster...a distracted and uninterested populace is turning its back on the beliefs and practices that made it free and great...obsessed with materialism whilst enabling collectivist leaders.
America's schizophrenia is resulting in the loss of control of factionalism...one of our founders' greatest fears.
Trump must prevail in Nov., if there are to be consequences for what is, IM0, conspiracy to interfere with the coming election. If the DOJ were then to investigate conspiracy, it would be on much firmer ground than the phony charges leveled at Trump since 2016.
As far as I'm concerned, this is a campaign and an important Constitutional issue.
Don’t remember “Larry”, as I have rarely viewed the ‘toon...but that was enough for me to regard it as a fairly accurate representation of the average American domestic situation...Stupid husband, more intelligent wife etc...
Speaker Johnson and the one who proceeded him are symptoms, not the problem. They and we are caught in that warning attributed to Ben Franklin..."A Republic, if you can keep it"...
The growth of massive urban areas have been in the process of challenging the Constitution's relevance since before the Civil War. The question is always whether the love of freedom, a difficult path, can overcome the human desire to be comfortable and complacent. The real struggle is in ourselves, our families, and our neighborhoods.
I listen occasionally to check on the enemy’s activities. But dismissed their “news” BS years ago when they featured David Gergen as their “conservative” wag...
I do not believe politicians are able to force policies on majorities. Rather, it is when the cultural and economic winds are strong enough in various directions that shrewd pols take charge. I'm way past being pi$$ed at Roosevelts or Bidens etc. for taking advantage of human fragility/stupidity. I save my displeasure for those who vote for them...including family and acquaintances.
Trump is a businessman who felt the wind blowing toward freedom and rode it into politics. That puts him, ego etc. and all, on a par with the great leaders and defenders of freedom in our past.
Yep...A "Hogan" is probably the only chance in a blue quagmire like Maryland to get a senator's "no" vote on codifying Roe v Wade. Yeah, he's lousy on the second amendment etc., but a Rat would be worse.
Well...it seems Gen. Milley’s approach, a phonecon with his ChiCom counterpart in Oct. 2020, has not rubbed off on Gen. Cavoli. He apparently respects the Constitution.
