Many states, including solidly red states like Missouri and Oklahoma, have effectively legalized marijuana. You see signs for marijuana dispensaries on Interstate 44 in Missouri. I am no fan of legalized marijuana, but this is a battle we have lost. The Feds need to stay out of the drug issue except to prevent importation into the commerce and restricting interstate commerce.

I don't think Ron Paul is a good analogy to Donald Trump. Paul is an orthodox free trader of the Austrian School of Economics. Trump is an economic nationalist and friendly to tariffs and quotas, closer to Alexander Hamilton than to Ludwig von Mises. Paul was no fan of Israel, to put it mildly. Trump was probably the most pro-Israel President ever. Paul was a throwback to Robert Taft- Calvin Coolidge type isolationism. Trump was more in the line of Eisenhower or Reagan: engagement with our allies but putting America's interests first.

Harrison County voted for Trump by a 2:1 margin in 2016 and 2020. The population is overwhelmingly white and native born. Surprisingly, there is no large college, but the FBI relocated a large operations center to the county seat in 1995. It looks like some of the Federal employees are voting in leftists to the school board while everyone else is distracted by work, sports, and entertainment.

Now this small town that few outside of Wyoming have ever heard of has received massive negative publicity worldwide. It is more difficult for a local Boss Hogg to hide his corruption. Conversely, due to the liberal media covering for the Democrats and, to some extent, the McCain-Bush-Nikki Haley wing of the GOP, it is easier for immensely corrupt politicians like the Biden and Clinton crime families to get away with corruption levels that would have embarrassed LBJ.

There is no motivation for the Chinese to claim some Northeast Asian territory from Russia. China benefits from the oil and natural gas resources of Siberia without directly controlling the region. The post-Soviet era has seen Chinese expansion into the "stans" of Central Asia, which had been ruled by China during the Qing dynasty. Thus the CCP has already accomplished expansion into what had been Tsarist and Soviet territory without firing a shot.

A defeat and breakup of Russia into smaller countries controlled by Western financial interests would leave China isolated and vulnerable to Western subversion, China had experience with humiliation by the West and does not want a second round. The CCP has been the primary source of fentanyl, which has caused the death of many thousands of Americans. The CCP may see this as payback for the Western powers forcing opium upon their country. In any case, China has been the primary market for Russian oil and natural gas. China and North Korea, which exists under the sufferance of Beijing, has been providing military aid to Russia in their war against Ukraine. China and Russia have engaged in joint military activities, including jointly trolling the US off the Alaska coast. Both nations have supported Iran and Communist regimes in Latin America and elsewhere. Chinese and Russian interests have been pushing French and American interests in various parts of Africa.

Chinese Russian cooperation well predates the Western sanctions. In a sense, the Cold War never really ended and the Eastern bloc and its Muslim allies have expanded their global reach while the Western democracies are deindustrializing, importing millions of unassimilable immigrants, and obsessing over climate change and sexual degeneracy.

AG Paxton has no authority over the banking side of USAA, which has a Federal charter. However, there may be some room on the insurance side, as that is state regulated.

USAA may be a mutually owned institution but for practical purposes it functions as a large corporation not unlike Bank of America or Chase. USAA has a Federal charter on the banking side, so it does not fall under the supervision of the state of Texas. Insurance services do fall under state jurisdiction.

The Navy Federal Credit Union offers financial services to military members and veterans similar to USAA. A quick look at their website shows no DEI nonsense. Those patriots still in the armed services and veterans should consider switching their banking services provider.

What these numbers indicate is the absolute failure of all branches of the Christian church to preach morality based on the Bible and discipline members engaged in public sin. I understand that civil marriage is easy to escape and that the family court system is generally rigged against men. However, the Bible is clear, thou shalt not commit adultery. Jesus Himself restricted divorce grounds to adultery.

How many ministers and priests regularly preach Biblical morality? How many youth groups teach abstinence before marriage? I think such teaching is infrequent or nonexistent in most Christian churches of any stripe, except maybe some independent Baptist churches or very conservative Lutheran or Reformed churches.

Neither American Big Tech nor TikTok are good. Red China is a serious external threat to this country, in alliance with Russia, Iran,and North Korea. A foreign owned corporation should not have the same business rights a domestic company has.

That being said, Big Tech has attempted to establish a monopoly over electronic communication, and has engaged in regularly deplatforming or demonetizing conservative content creators and alternative medicine advocates. Facebook, Google, and other tech firms have been working in collusion with the Democrats and the White House. The legal protection that these companies have should be rescinded and treated like other mass media firms. Antitrust laws need to be enforced for a legitimate purpose.

The mainline Protestant churches were the spiritual home of the WASP establishment. Many years ago, the Episcopal Church was described as the Republican Party at prayer. The WASP establishment has shrunk to irrelevance, and the core of GOP support lies in the evangelical churches. In fact, Southern Baptists and members of the Assemblies of God are more politically conservative than the traditionalist spinoffs from the Episcopalians and Presbyterians, the Anglicans and the PCA, respectively.

I have not posted on Facebook for 6 years. Nor have I posted on any of the other social media sites. Not even Twitter or Truth Social. I don’t think my personal life is anyone’s business, nor is getting into arguments with brain dead liberals.

A better analogy than 1930s Germany would be the early stages of Communist countries like Venezuela or Nicaragua where the Communists take over more or less bloodlessly through elections. The Left slowly ranches up the oppression. California is well advanced in this cycle with that state going well beyond even Biden's anti-business, anti-Christian policies. Like Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba, California and other leftist states like New York and Illinois are generating out-migration.

The subversion of the Left predates even Obama's grandparents. Remember that FDR was influenced by Communists and other left wingers. Over a century, they have slowly come to dominate almost every public institution in this country. The current Democratic Party is communist in character and the Republicans are divided between patriots and compromisers.

What many conservatives, angered at the extreme decadence of the American and European elites and noting the "family values" talk of Putin, fail to see is an alliance between China, Russia, Iran, and the Communist and radical Islamic nations with a goal of toppling the West. The October 7th attack on Israel benefitted Russia in that Western resources and attention were diverted from Ukraine. Many wealthy liberal Jews were shocked when radical Muslims and Communists attacked institutions they supported for decades, e.g., Columbia University.

The Communist/radical Islamic alliance is not omnipotent but they see delusional Western nations deindustrializing, educating children in "feelings" rather than facts, and promoting vile moral behavior. They are like the Hunnic and Germanic barbarians seeing the decadence of the Roman Empire. We may well be in the end times but at least we will see the collapse of NATO and the Anglosphere countries within the lifetime of people now alive.

If the West is defeated in the next war, the Russians may take back Alaska, which had been a Russian possession until 1867, when we bought it for $15 million. I doubt the Russians will be overly concerned with “indigenous knowledge.” The Chinese will take Hawaii as a naval base. The CCP could take California for the agricultural bounty of that state, cleaning out the riff raff from Southern California and the Bay Area.

There should be a newspaper record in Tyler of the elder Bush’s presence at the meeting where he gave a speech I think he spoke to the Lions or Kiwanis Club.

Americans in this sex obsessed lifestyle will not reproduce given the ready availability of birth control and abortion. The increase in self-described LGBTQ obviously will not have children. Already we see school districts shrinking and closing schools due to decreasing school population. Some of this is due to the rise in home schooling and private schools but a declining overall population is another reason. Declining church attendance and liberal Protestant ministers and Catholic priests preaching social justice and not personal morality are also factors.

Illegal immigration is wrong and should be stopped. However, the issue of Americans not producing more Americans has to be addressed. Airhead women like the ones described in this article are beyond reason.

New York City has returned to the decay that characterized the 1960s through the 1980s, but even worse. RCV is a way to prevent the possibility that a future version of Rudy Giuliani does not come into office and clean up the city. Without a return to effective law enforcement and a restraint on liberal lunacy, New York City will become Detroit on the Atlantic.
