Very well said.
But a question.
WHY?
Why can’t even a liberal say “thank you” to someone that has given up his or her life for them?
It is beyond me.
I become more angry by the day
The price of being a liberal is giving up your humanity. Once you do that, what are you? By definition, you're not human. You don't live your live to develop yourself spiritually. Instead, you are a group parasite, feeding off of what the group gives you, obeying what the group tells you to do. And because your existence is so shameful, you spend all of your time claiming the highest morality, while viciously attacking anyone you fear might suspect your fraud.
Liberals are not what you think they are. They are not misguided humans, they are not ignorant, and they are not out of control.
They have chosen what they are too ashamed to tell you about.
IMO:
1) Liberals are the real greedy pigs in the world ... they feel that the world owes them a living, that they are entitled to whatever they want. Hence, no gratitude is ever appropriate from them. It is given grudgingly, or insincerely, if at all.
2) Liberals seem to have trouble grasping that any enemy is really bad enough to justify war. Hence, those who risked (or gave up) their lives in war did so unnecessarily (in the liberals' opinion), and no gratitude is necessary or appropriate.
3) Liberals are narcissists ... only they, and only the things they do, are important. Most liberals don't join the military, go to war, or put their lives on the line for others. Therefore, such actions are unimportant *in the liberals' opinion), and no gratitude is necessary or appropriate.
IMO.
IANAP.
YMMV.
Liberals do not sacrifice anything. Most selfish lot that ever existed on this planet.
Liberals don't see it that way. Therefore, there's nothing to thank anybody for.
