"Amazing Prophetic Painting" (Vision)

I give you my word as a Christian this is not a hoax, this is a true story and we have numerous reliable witnesses which have backed up this information. The author is Vicky Martin, however, we decided not to divulge her location for fear she might be deluged with phone calls. However, she resides in the USA.

Vicky Martin, a Christian lady known to the staff at Bush Country, brought in a painting that she had completed about two weeks ago. You can see the date she completed the painting which is August 28, 2001.

One of our associates who saw it the first time Vicki brought it in, paid for it and brought it home. After the WTC tragedy, the painting was brought back in to our offices and this is where I heard about it. Needless to say, I had to post it on Bush Country!

She said she did not know why she painted it, she just had a vision about it. What is so amazing is that she did not even know what the New York skyline looked like! The World Trade Center and the Empire State Building are clearly identified in the painting. She also informed us she had originally painted the plane pointing the opposite way, going toward the two tall towers, but her child after seeing it said, "Mommy, it looks like the plane is going to hit the building" so she turned the plane in the other direction!

God is indeed informing his children he is coming to America. You can feel it! Bush Country prays this is the revival Christians have needed for decades. God bless America's revival, God bless America and God bless George Bush in leading us.

So what? It's an airplane and a rough approximation of the New York skyline, along with Jesus apparently playing Hide-and-Seek.

There's really nothing remarkable to it. Sorry.

If it was truly prophetic, it wouldn't have Jesus portrayed as a white guy with flowing brown hair....

>She said she did not know why she painted it, she just had a vision about it.

Well, if we take you on your word, there are a couple of things I'd say...

1) It's kind of disturbing that her image is one of Jesus coming, yet the reality was of something quite the opposite. (All the more reason to consider that it might be real...)

2) On the other hand, this is very much consistent with some stuff I've recently read about a thing called "remote viewing." (This is where people, essentially, get quick visions or flashes of inspiration about particular things or places. See: McMoneagle site (an original Stargate operative) Especially the book: "Remote Viewing Secrets : A Handbook," by Joseph McMoneagle) The thing is, the _mind_ gets this flash or intuition and, unless you're practiced and trained (or just very experienced) a person often has difficulty making sense of the intuition.

I imagine this is what happened in this case. There is some mental/subconscious mechanism whereby we can sometimes get little flashes of insight about the future. Then, our _conscious_ mind tries to put our insights into an understandable context.

This painter got this flash about New York and the WTC and something "coming" that was going to shake up the whole world. Consciously, the painter's mind pulled the only explanation that made sense -- a religious coming. (If the painter had been an expert on terrorism, perhaps the intuition would have been interpreted differently.)

Interesting thread. Especially in light of the book ref'd above. Mark W.

I've never been one to have anything but pleasant dreams during my sleep--maybe 1 or 2 nightmares my entire life--a few bizarre dreams, and I occasionally dream of traveling and running to catch trains or planes. However, one week ago Friday night, I had a disturbing and vivid dream. Normally, I forget my dreams about 24 hours after waking. This one stayed with me, for some reason.

The dream started with my husband, me and several faceless, nameless people riding on an older school bus that had been painted white (sort of like my church and many churches use). We were riding through the countryside outside my hometown, and the feeling was that we were doing so against our wills (almost like we were on the run or hiding). I say this, because the driver was "one of us." At one point, we pulled over to pick up a faceless, nameless young woman. She got on the bus and sat down. My husband pulled me to the floor of the bus and said, "We must sit down here for our own safety. If "they" see her on our bus, "they" will shoot at the bus windows, and if we're down here we stand less of a chance of getting hit." We rode like this for some time, before we hit a dead end and came to a building that looked, on the inside, like the corridors of a hotel (you know the kind of hotel I'm talking about, those that are built weird and the corridors are like a maze--have one glass of wine too many in the lobby bar and you might never find your way to your room). We were being led--all of us--through these hallways, around corners, down stairs, up stairs, around more corners. Every time we turned a corner, we were all certain we were going to be dead--either shot or somehow executed. I awoke soon after.

The dream stayed with me because in my waking or dreaming states, I had never FELT SO VULNERABLE and PERSECUTED. Yet, here I was near my own hometown! This is what made the dream stay with me through Monday. Then, Tuesday morning, it all came back to me. I haven't been able to shake it since.

It looks like a giant Geraldo ready to eat the city. I sure hope it's not prophetic!

Yeah, but the plane is flying AWAY from the WTC complex, not into it. This picture could have just as easily been interpreted as prophetic if a plane leaving NYC crashed in the MidWest several hundred miles away.

A friend of mine had a nightmare that a nuclear bomb detonated at the top of the Six Flags tower in Arlington, he said that when he woke he told himself that it was just a dream because he remembered the Superman ride in his dream was painted a weird color of green, and that it had begun to glow red like the coils on an electric range.

At the time of his dream the Superman Ride was painted blue, last year they changed the color to green, the same green as in his dream, so now he is all nervous.

LoL! BTW, I doubt it's prophetic and I know it's not art.

"Talk about a RED FLAG....amazing how this stuff pops up" And it's amazing how you pop up when this stuff pops up.

Dreams are helpful and valuable if you listen to them. A few months ago I had a dream that I was taking the bar exam and was the only person there who didn't have any pants on. I was just wearing my T-shirt. I listened to the warning and added "Be sure to wear pants and undies!" to my check list, along with Number 2 pencils and Tums.
