Hi tommy
Is it possible for fonts and colors of your banner
to be different on the two browsers
On netscape I get red and blue and one font
On msn I got mostly black letters and a different font

Thank you Christine for trying to explain for me.
The whole point of this exercise gentlemen, is to differentiate between the practical and political components of the reaction. The political action, which we are discussing, is designed to reassure, comfort and respond to the desires of the American people, and has nothing to do with fighting terrorism, it is however, a very important morale booster. This action, whilst desirable at this time, must be handled with great care as the repercussions could the catastrophic
The longer-term seek and destroy component will be much more effective, but less sexy, and of necessity will be conducted in secret.
Are we all on the same page now?

HI grannie, some nights after I get in bed, I remember funny posts here
and laugh out loud for 10 minutes
It doesn't even wake Lulu up
But when I watched my first Cheech and Chong movie (on VCR)
and rolled on living room rug laughing
it scared the two dogs I had then
They barked at me to stop laughing
Basset hounds are impervious

Grannie, some Freepers will consider you a subversive for posting that link, But you were right to do so.
The first rule of war is to know your enemy, warriors respect other warriors and learn from each other, Americans tend to denigrate their enemies and are surprised when the slant eyes, slopes, rag heads chinks chicoms etc. whip their asses with one ten thousandth of their assets.
Underestimating you enemy will kill you. In the western desert during WWII the most admired general by the British troops was Rommel, who had repeatedly defeated them, killing hundreds of their comrades, with his brilliant maneuvers. The most denigrated were their own sorry specimens, and with good reason I may add. I make this remark to point that it is not treasonous to admire the skill, daring, and courage of your enemy.

good post ac
terrorists who murder innocent people
are insane criminals
Bush will free the people of Afganistan of their reign of terror
plus make all citizens safe (here and abroad)
if he can remove them

If people think it's subversive to know your enemy, they must be blind. I would assume that that is the first thing anyone would want to know. How can you fight and defeat them if you don't know how they think, what they think of you, and their mindbent on how to attack you.
You have to be able to serarate the wheat from the shaff. What is spin and what is truth about what they are telling us. If you know what their deep-seated hatred is, then you can make a better decision of what they are telling you in the press, and if they're lying or not.
You can't stick your head in the sand, and pretend all this isn't out there. You're not using the might of the internet, if you want to blind your eyes..and you can't be any help to your country if you want to wear blinders.

That link you posted is helpful, grannie, thanks.
Now, can you help me understand Islam better? Everything I read from the Koran is so confusing. It seems like it can have so many different meanings. Also, I have read stuff about Black Muslims and wonder how closely they are linked with other Muslims. Can you or anyone else around here help me?

We have many intelligent people on this thread that I'm sure can help you with this info. I would just tangle myself up in my explanation, as it's tangled in my mind as well. I "think" I know the differences in them all, but I'd be hard put to make a decent explanation.. Hope we both get help. ;^))
