Habs had first game tonight vs Leafs, actually won.Wings will be tough, but its a long year, and all those injuries sure can add up.

A gooey appetizer for the losing team. With eight legs.

Actually it's way beyond my thought processing abilities, a grand tradition from yesteryear. Had to do with the old league of 8 and how it took 8 wins to win the Stanley Cup. Way before my time. Us Michiganders just like to mess with the ice now!

Habs may have a better bead on this.

Ollie North on Fox just commented that Tuesday was bin Laden's best shot. If he had chemical, biological or nuclear weapons, or he would have used them Then.
It is safer to fly today than last Monday, because he has played his best card.

Probably a good observation. I think they are running a bit right now, and for good reason. These guys masterminded a great hit (from their perspective), but don't yet have the capability or the capacity for a long term constant terror thing over here. They probably have several other ideas they are planning, but they will probably be very different than what they just did and will require more time.

That being said...stay focused and keep vigilance. We need to keep them from setting up here in a way they could keep us in constant terror.

No quarter.

You mean the jeapin' octopuss? yummy. There's a horse that Montreal drafted this year from Michigan named Mike Komasarik, and he say's he "really likes to hit people".I got that warm feeling all over when I heard this.

Palo, it will take a special helping dose of tin foil and heavy duty colanders to help Montreal even make the playoffs.Start a tin foil drive in Tuscon now!

It is my opinion that the citizens of this country better be more than alert. They need to be watching in front of themselves, on both sides and behind.

That may have been bin Laden's BEST SHOT as Ollie North said but I do not feel secure enough to think that this is the only shot.

I would not get on a plane today even if North said it is safer in the air today than it was last Monday.

I would not go to Central Park for a prayer service where over one million people are expected.

I would not continue to announce the appointments early in the day that the President has.

I would not criticize President Bush and his team and, in no way, would I defend someone who wants to do so. Free speech is not as free as it was last Monday.

What I will do is pray for this country and its leadership, buy more stock in an effort to help the economy, keep a candle burning in my window and a flag hanging on my front stoop. I will pray for the safety of all of our service personnel and for all of our citizens.

I will strive to put on a happy face and give all the support that I am able to do.

May tomorrow be a happier day for all of us. J

Hi TK - Hi everyone: As far as this war against terrorists goes, this will be a heavily "covert" war. I have been saying all along that it wouldn't take long to realize just how much damage Clinton did to America and to us for that matter. He has actually undermined the entire free world. He sold it out. He has facilitated a build up in the enemy countries by giving them technology in return for $$$ and he was in power long enough to allow them time to build up forces. This will be a war of great magnitude and it will encompass ALL facets of military operations. I pray that the CIA and FBI have already had their hands untied. I lay a lot of the blame for Tuesday's disaster at Bill and Hillary Clinton's feet. The half has NOT YET been told. Hillary Clinton needs to look uncomfortable, justice should be shadowing her already. On Sunday I watched Fox and it was POWERFUL. All of them besides Eliason were choking back tears. The liberal trash has taken a mighty blow and the sacrifice of all of those people and the connection to their corruption is going to open a lot of American eyes. I really believe that. I agree with Christine in that you are not going to wipe out terrorism completely BUT it is going to take a mighty blow. You wouldn't believe the outrage up here. The muslim population here is really getting it in the ear as they should. The other day, on the open line show a 15 year old muslim girl phoned in and the absolute venom and hatred that spewed from her was shocking. It told me that you cannot trust ANY of the muslims because although they attempt to blend into our socieities for their own personal benefits - that hatred it taught - EARLY. Lynn

Hi Anne!! Blessings to you. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you. There are never enough hours in a day. And you know what - your assessment is absolutely right as far as I'm concerned. I would go as far as to say - at least for this Country - For the sake of caution, ship ALL the muslims back. They cannot be trusted. The only exceptions would be if there would some that had converted to Christianity, then they would have a different mindset. If they are practising muslims - OUT! Sorry if that sounds racist, I have never been a racist but I do know that you CANNOT trust a practising muslim because they have been so steeped in hatred that it is a waste of time. We are at a time when DRASTIC measurers must be taken. Love Lynn
