Protesters carry a comical effigy of President Bush at an anti-U.S. protest Friday Sept. 21, 2001, in Peshawar, Pakistan. Many of the protests have not been impressive in numbers, but the local minority has made its case more loudly than the masses, who seem more pragmatic about what Pakistan should do, side with the U.S., or Afghanistan and with Osama bin Laden. Not the Hind Ocean! That's it--I guess we just have to give up!

To: patlaw_guy

My guess is that it refers to an area where the Russians lost several Hind helicoptors and said area has been named by the Afghans... or the protestors just finished doing a little black tar heroin...

You can tell from the spelling on their signs that they have all attended the American university system.

After seeing this picture, I am pretty sure that all their base will belong to us, and not the other way around.

Uzma Farooq, from left to right, Tamima Tasneem, and Sadia Mariam, Botany students at the University of Arid Agriculture, take a break in the university garden in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, Monday, Sept. 24, 2001. "Killing is wrong in Islam," Mariam, 21, said. Her friends nodded in agreement, "If you shed the blood of one innocent, you wound everyone everywhere." "To some extent, the Americans are also responsible for this, because of Palestine and other things," Tamima said, "Bush should be broad-minded, show humility. Americans always think they're superior." (AP Photo/Peter Dejong)

Nope, just cut down the mightiest tree in Afghanistan with...
A herring!

"...Americans always think they're superior."
Dang right about that, Honey. This Paki-babe obviously is not majoring in logic. Wait till the Taliban gets hold of her. 20 lashes for attending a university. 40 lashes for not wearing a full veil or burka. And 60 lashes for wearing the wrong shade of lipstick...
