Just a little 2.5 here in San Fernando Valley. Just an isolated earthquake. Nothing to see here, move along, go to the mall, buy a car, get on a plane.

2.5 at 10:02am in Silver Lake which is close to downtown but that's hardly worth reporting.

Umm, no earthquakes here. Didn't feel a damn thing.
The again, if it ain't 4.0 or higher I may not even feel it let alone qualify it as an earthquake. Got to be at least 5.0 to get my attention and get me out of bed.

Nothing felt in Orange County.

I hate it when the National News reports "Earthquake in California" and leaves us hanging in mid air!
Can't be that bad, thank G-d....FReepers are reporting in :~)<psw

I am just north of the civic center in L.A. A little shake, nothing to get nervous about. Thought it was a truck going by. Earthquke center has a preliminary 2.5 magnitude, epicenter just north/east of downtown.

Hammerhead, stop being a good FREEPER and reporting on all the action and get under your desk.

A 2.5 isn't an earthquake, it's a pothole. Which is probably why I didn't feel it while driving here in Los Angeles. Believe me, the potholes on some L.A. streets go up to magnitude 4.
If it's a magnitude 5.0 or more, then it starts to become an earthquake. Until then, don't bother posting inconsequentials.
