LOS ANGELES -- Ronald Reagan on Thursday will have lived longer than any other U.S. president -- 33,120 days -- eclipsing the record held by the nation's second chief executive John Adams.
Reagan, 90, who occupied the White House from 1981 to 1989, was born Feb. 6, 1911.
"Time passes so quickly," former first lady Nancy Reagan said Wednesday. "These days, especially, we should remember how precious life is and how important it is to cherish every moment."

If any of you get a chance to go to Dixon IL, Ronald Reagan's boyhood home, do it. Ask the ladies who work there to show you how to get to the Rock River where Ronnie was a lifeguard. This great man came from a humble and quite American beginning.
God Bless Ronald Reagan!
He asked God to bless us many times. And he meant it with all his heart every single time.

I'm lucky to have been raised with him as President(born in '76). I wouldn't know what a good Prez is like otherwise.

When does the USS Ronald Reagan set sail, or has it already?
It would be great to see it in action in the current conflict.

God, I wish he still had 100% of his faculties. I would love to hear what he would be saying about the current crisis. If my fellow Freepers want a treat, get a copy of his speech at the 1984 RNC convention. It brings me to tears even recalling it. This man loved America so much, and made me feel so great about being an American. I was a liberal during his presidency, but I always loved this man. I wish I had seen the light sooner, so I could have appreciated him more. I envy those of you who were conservative then. It must have been fantastic.

It will take till 2003 before the ship is ready for combat. It is still at the shipyard being built. It was only 60% complete at christening on March 4.

I don't mean this as disrespect to Reagan, but I really don't call the condition that he's been in for the last few years or so "living."

Just a pic of Ronnie can put me in a better mood. He's the GREATEST! Thanks...and many more for this wonderful man, if God permits.
