The Daily Probe has uncovered a remarkable set of coincidences regarding the terrorist attacks of September 11. It seems that the number 11 pops up with alarming regularity when one considers the various aspects of the events of that day. For example:
- The date itself: September 11th
- Also regarding the date, 9/11: 9+1+1 = 11
- The World Trade Center towers looked like the number 11
- American Airlines Flight 11, from Boston to Los Angeles crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center

- There were exactly 11 apostles left after Judas split the band
- Excluding February, there are exactly 11 months in a year
- If you dial 11 on your phone, preceded by the number 4, you'll contact someone who claims to know the names, addresses, and phone numbers of everyone in the entire country!
- 11 is one half of the corporate name "7-11", responsible for poisoning millions of Americans with junk food and cigarettes
- 11 is the exact number of beers that Canadian Probe Staffer Greg Preece can consume before passing out in a puddle of his own urine and vomit
- 11 raised to the 10th power is 2357947691, which just happens to be the phone number of one Gene Ricman of Springfield. "Springfield" has 11 letters in it!
- 1 is the loneliest number. It stands to reason that 11 must be *twice* as lonely!
