I second everything you have said! It is evident now that DU is only another arm of the clintons and don't deserve any press on here! Most of the time it seems the posts from DU are the same as the ms. clinton talking point papers and we sure don't want to have those posted on here! The less publicity they get the better!

Absolutely right. Why on Earth would anyone waste time trying to disrupt something as insignificant as DU? I have made this same argument about "FREEPING" polls- especially polls on sites like VOTE.com that derive their income from the number of "hits" that they get. I often suspect that these breathless posts exhorting us to "FREEP" some undistinguished, meaningless poll are "set-ups" by the owners of those sites.

Same with DU- I wouldn't be surprised to learn that many of the "Let's all go over and really tell DU off" posts that we see here are done by Lefty disruptors.

Agreed. It would be one thing if we would be freely allowed to post responses over there, in an attempt at true debate. But every person who tries to do so is immediately banned. What's the point?

One of the most truly amazing things about liberalism is their hypocrisy regarding "tolerance" and "diversity". Any disagreeable viewpoint is automatically dubbed evil and unworthy of discussion. Sure, we FReepers get into flame wars here, but at least we exchange ideas and information. Even though, for example, I disagree with a lot of libertarian thought, I like to see their arguments and appreciate the earnest behind their thought. Even at D.U., all it is is rant and rave, name-callings, etc. No thoughtful philosophical discussions, no meaningful insight into ideas, etc. Shows their vacuousness in their attempt at "moral superiority."

Posting threads from there to here only lends them credibility and traffic that they would never get for themselves.
