In the past there has been interest, but no definate plans to get Colorado Freepers together to see about forming a Free Republic chapter. I have set aside some time, 4:30 - 5:30 PM, for a Freeper get together to discuss this.
For discussion regarding the forming a Colorado Chapter go here Attention Colorado Freepers!

I did entertain the idea of promoting this as 'The Last Bill of Rights Day Celebration'. I have to admit I am getting nervous and hope we still have them on the 15th.

Seems Colorado will truly be a hotbed for liberty
and patriotism come December 15, 2001! This
is absolutely great!
Just FYI for all Coloradans on FreeRepublic -
For those of you who can't make it up to
Loveland there is also another Bill of Rights Day
Celebration planned in Denver at noon, at the state
Capitol Building. SAS will be sending
someone to speak there as well. Other speakers will
include Libertarian U.S. Senate candidate Rick Stanley,
Constitution Lawyer Paul Grant, former Boulder City
Council Candidate Ron Bain from the Independance
Institute and a representative of the Colorado ACLU.
All 10 Amendments will be championed at this event.
Of particular note, (even if you don't attend the one
in Denver), Rick Stanley will be performing an act of
civil disobedience by carrying a weapon to the state
Capitol in an attempt to get arrested to prove
Denver's municipal code unconstitutional. So watch the
evening news to see a true patriot get arrested
for exercising his Constitutional Right under the 2nd
Amendment and Article 2 section 13 of the Colorado
Constitution. Rick is determined to restore the right
of self-protection to those in Denver, Colorado. Proving
that this is one candidate that means it when it comes to
restoring your rights. He will do what it takes to get the
job done, before it's too late.
For more information on the Denver Celebration please see the
following web site http://www.stanley2002.org/borday.htm
Please note this flyer covers Rick's portion of the event.
A more generalized flyer will be released soon
Thanks!
