Killing Yourself To Live

Well people look and people stare
Well I don't think that I even care
You work your life away and what do they give?
You're only killing yourself to live
Killing yourself to live
Killing yourself to live

Just take a look around you what do you see
Pain, suffering, and misery
It's not the way that the world was meant
It's a pity you don't understand
Killing yourself to live
Killing yourself to live

I'm telling you
Believe in me
Nobody else will tell you
Open your eyes
And see the lies, oh yeah

You think I'm crazy and baby
I know that it's true
Before that you know it I think
That you'll go crazy too

I don't know if I'm up or down
Whether black is white or blue is brown
The colors in my life are all different somehow
Little boy blue's a big girl now

So you think it's me who's strange
But you've never had to make the change
Never give your trust away
You'll end up paying till your dying day

Diary Of A Madman - One of my all-time favorite Albums (CD's). But everything after that sucks rocks. (unless Blizzard came after Diary, that one was ok.) Bark At The Moon was the jumping of the shark for Ozzy.

Happy birthday you freak (I mean that in the nicest way possible).

Crazy Train

Crazy,but that's how it goes
Millions of people living as fools
Maybe it's not too late
To learn how to love
And forget how to hate
Mental wounds not healing
Life's a bitter shame
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train
I've listened to preachers
I've listened to fools
I've watched all the dropouts
Who make their own rules
One person conditioned to rule and control
The media sells it and you live the role
Mental wounds still screaming
Driving me insane
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train
I know that things are going wrong for me
You gotta listen to my words
Yeh-h
Heirs of a cold war
That's what we've become
Inheriting troubles I'm mentally numb
Crazy, I just cannot bear
I'm living with something that just isn't fair
Mental wounds not healing
Who and what's to blame
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train

I haven't had a lot of use or respect for Osbourne since he urinated on the Alamo. That's no way to favorably impress people in Texas.

Shot In The Dark

Out on the street
I'm stalking the night
I can hear my heavy breathing
Paid for the kill
But it doesn't seem right
Something there I can't believe in

Voices are calling from inside my head
I can hear them
I can hear them Vanishing memories
Of things that were said
They can't try to hurt me now

But a shot in the dark
One step away from you
A shot in the dark always creeping up on you

Taught by the powers
That preach over me
I can hear their empty reason
I wouldn't listen
I learnt how to fight
I opened up my mind to treason

But just like the wounded
And when it's too late
They'll remember
They'll surrender
Never a care for the people who hate
Underestimate me now

But a shot in the dark
One step away from you
A shot in the dark
Nothing that you can do
A shot in the dark
Always creeping up on you
All right

You Can't Kill Rock and Roll

How many times can they fill me with lies and I listen, again
Twisting the truth and they're playin' around with my head O.K.
The things they will do and the things they will say
When they don't really uunderstand
Tears fill my eyes when I hear all the cries
For the reason today

And they don't really know even what they're talkin' about
And I can't imagine what empty heads can achieve

Chorus:
Leave me alone don't want your promises no more
'Cause rock n' roll is my religion and my law
Won't ever change, may think it's strange
You can't kill rock n' roll it's here to stay

Lookin' through eyes of time mirrors reflecting their stories
Untrue
Promises, promises, telling me all of my glories overdue
How many times have I heard it before
And I'll probably hear it again
King of a thousand knights, pawn in a table light
Losing to you

And they din't really know even what they're talkin' about
And I can't imagine what empty heads can achieve

Chorus

Even the rhymes that they give me in times of confession
Ain't true
Outcome is obvious all for them none for us meaning you too

The things they will do and the things they will say
When they don't really understand
Fear of rejection I need their protection
I'm making a stand

And they don't really know even what they're talkin' about
And I can't imagine what empty heads can achieve

Chorus

Chorus

Big deal. His birthdays no more important than anyone else. Not a guy that really illicits a second thought. This misplaced hero worship has to stop for the good of all.

He has had a rough life hasn't he?
But he was blessed with a wonderful family, hard to believe, and seems to have cleaned up his life a bit in the last few years.

Happy Birthday Ozzie! Glad you made it 53!

OH goodie! I hope someone posts the "I'm a bad American 'coz I bite off chicken heads" list by this dude. It's never been posted here, has it? Or was that list by Iggy Pop? No wait, it was by Billy Crystal. Or maybe by that other comedian, what's his name, you know the one. I know I know, don't tell me, it was by the Tourist Guy! Happy birthday Tourist Guy!

Didn't Crockett, Bowie and Travis urinate on the Alamo? I'm sure they must have.

No, but they did bleed on it.

Facing Hell

You made a promise of protection
To a future afterlife
To the final resurrection
Unto eternal paradise

But then I’m blinded with temptation
Into every mortal sin
Is it God that sits there waiting,
Or will the darkness suck me in?

Let’s wake up the dead, oh yeah
It’s better than never, ya know
More tears are shed, I’m praying that you’ll never know
That I’m facing Hell

Oh the children sit and listen, the belief was in their eyes
In a land with no tomorrows, through the night you hear their cries
But then your eyes just skip the pages, of a book that never ends
Is it God that sits there waiting
Do you hear the call again?

Let’s wake up the dead, oh yeah
It’s better than never, ya know
More tears are shed, I’m praying that you’ll never know
That I’m facing Hell

It’s just a crazy world we live in, and I’m out of my mind
You’ll pray tomorrow, but you’re leaving today
Evil one is coming, and he’s knockin’ your door
Cause today’s the day you pay

Let’s wake up the dead, oh yeah
It’s better than never, ya know
More tears are shed, oh yeah, I’m praying that you’ll never know
Let’s wake up the dead, oh yeah
It’s better than never, ya know
More tears I shed, oh yeah, I’m praying that you’ll never know

That I’m facing Hell
