Update 3 - Announcement
By majority vote of the Board of Directors overnite, vote conducted by email between members of the board: the board voted to appoint Snow Bunny as Secretary/Treasurer to the organization. Snow Bunny has accepted the appointment.
There will be a meeting of the Board of Director's sometime this weekend, Friday evening or Saturday, Time to be announced as soon as I hear, to discuss the Articles of Incorporation. Draft Articles of Incorporation are posted here. The purpose of the meeting is to determine the filing status of the organization, either as a 501(c)(4) (Civic Leagues and social Welfare Organizations) or 501(c)(19) (Veterans' Organizations), as opposed to the 501(c)(3) in the draft Articles of Incorporation.

Update: On the board meeting: in conversation with various board members, it looks like we should hold off on trying to schedule a board meeting untill sometime between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Can you post a time between Dec 27 and Dec 30 that would be good for you all???
Will place everything on hold till then.

I am available any night except the 27th. It is (FallGuy)my husbands birthday so I will be going out that evening.
