I am continually amazed to read of stories of third world Muslim resident aliens applauding the WTC attacks. Anyone remember the story of the Ethiopian student at SDSU?

What's even more shocking is the number of (so-called) Freepers who are defending the Muslim terrorists! They post drivel about how we must be "sensitive" and not appear "mean-spirited" to the commie scum over at the DemoRat Underground. This is total insanity! It is as if September 11th never happened. What will it take for you fools to wake up and realize we are at war? You can either stand with the United States of America, or you are no better than Osama bin Laden's henchmen.

Also seen on various threads are Euro Trash trolls who like to write about how wonderful socialist Europe is, and how uncultured, fat and lazy Americans are. Prior to September 11th, their nonsense was amusing and tolerable. But the world has changed now, and it is becoming clearer to me that the Euro Trash are not much better than the Muslim terrorists in one critical way: the inability to tell right from wrong.

In any event, this rant is meant to have a purpose beyond pure vanity. What I want to convey here is yes, we are at war, one that we must win. Do not allow yourself to be cowered into silence. When you read the umpteenth thread about how some new band of Muslim terrorists are attacking innocents, SPEAK YOUR MIND. Don't allow the thought police intimidate you into silence.

This is a Free Republic. This is America! And if you don't like it, then why don't you get the hell out?

I'd ask you to discuss your thoughts as to why the US needs a military base in the middle of Saudi Arabia (and what you would think if Saudi Arabia wanted to station active troops in texas, for example) but then I realized *you can't think* so..........never mind...

They don't need to leave, we have people here who will defend them until they have turned blue because our Constitution grants them rights and privelages that most Americans do not have. Personaly, I think they should all have to swim home.

First off, let me agree up front that I too am tired of the increasingly prevalant trashing of our country by Euros and others, and especially our home-grown lefists.

Now (and I have my Nomex on) let me pose this question. If the rights set forth in the Constitution are those naturally occurring, as they are granted not by man but by God, then aren't these rights not merely rights of Americans, but of all men? And therefore, don't foreigners, illegals, etc., have the same rights and protections as the rest of us?

This troubles me. Do we deny rights to others, as they are not Americans, and in doing so defile the very Constitution we seek to defend?

I stepped outside to have a smoke and started thinking the same thing. My thought was more along the lines of State law rather than Federal. I guess I am just upset over people who whine when immigrant aid programs get dropped yet they don't give a hoot about homeless or hurting Americans. My sister lost her job and all of the benefits(read insurance) that went with it due to the aftermath of 9/11 but I don't see a hoard of people trying to protect her right now. If someone is here of there own accord they should try to embrace our society and ideals, if they can't do that they should go back to where they came from.
