“Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly” (1 Corinthians 15:49). All believers can look forward to one day receiving new bodies and new images. Jesus’ post-resurrection appearances present a glimpse of the greatness, power, and wonder that our own resurrection bodies will have. Our Lord appeared and disappeared at will and always reappeared in other places. He was able to go through walls and doors, but He could also eat, drink, sit, talk, and be seen by others. Jesus was remarkably the same as before His death, yet...

"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when men cast insults at you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, on account of Me" (Matt. 5:10-11). The persecution you receive for proclaiming Christ is really aimed at Christ Himself. Savonarola has been called the Burning Beacon of the Reformation. His sermons denouncing the sin and corruption of the Roman Catholic Church of his day helped pave the way for the Protestant Reformation. Many who heard his powerful sermons went away...

The entire population of Belgium is to be issued with a ration of iodine tablets, months after warnings about the threat of Isil building a dirty bomb. Iodine pills, which help reduce radiation build-up in the thyroid gland, had previously only been issued to people living within 20km (14 miles) of the Tihange and Doel nuclear plants. Maggie De Block, the Health Minister, said that would be extended to 100km, covering the whole country of 11 million people, following advice from an expert council. The pills will be sent to pharmacies, and the public would be ordered to collect their...

U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman has said Republicans have a clear choice for their U.S. Senate candidate. U.S. Rep. Todd Young, Stutzman’s opponent in the May 3 primary election, is more than happy to go down that road. The candidates, their supporters and surrogates have spent recent months highlighting the differences between the two. Stutzman, R-3rd, is a farmer; Young, R-9th, is a former Marine. Stutzman is portrayed as fighting a broken system on Capitol Hill; Young is depicted as working within the system to advance legislation. Stutzman receives higher ratings from conservative advocacy groups; Young already has defeated Democratic Senate...

There’s no way to know for sure, but Joe Kovacs could be the world’s most explosive athlete. It’s a vague title with subjective criteria, and certainly not one he’d ever give himself, but all things considered, the Chula Vista shot putter has my vote. Kovacs stands 6 feet tall, far from short by the world’s standards. But in a field dominated by large competitors, he often finds himself looking up at the competition. This almost always changes, however, when the scores, standings and rankings come out. Kovacs, the reigning world champion in shot put, can consistantly throw the 16-pound metal...

(Delavan, WI) - "The revelation that Paul Ryan took $10,000 in campaign cash from Abbott Labs provides more strong evidence that the Speaker's votes in Congress are on the auction block and available to the highest bidder," said insurgent candidate Paul Nehlen early this morning of the 18-year incumbent he is challenging in Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District. Abbott Labs has been a strong proponent for further expansion of the H1B visa program. Last week, Nehlen attended a memorial event for 180 Abbott Labs employees not only displaced by imported H1B workers but also required to train their cheaper replacements, many...

Fox News host Meghan McCain argued on Thursday that GOP hopeful Ted Cruz had been smart to choose Carly Fiorina as his runningmate because she “warms up” the Texas senator. “I love Carly Fiorina,” McCain explained on the Thursday edition of Fox’s Outnumbered. “She has gone after Hillary Clinton the hardest. She rips out her jugular and serves it to me on a platter, which is what I want coming up in the election.” “What I like about Carly Fiorina is she warms up Ted Cruz,” she continued. “She’s going to reach out in Indiana to moms to women. How...

Andrea Tantaros won’t be on Fox News Channel for the time being. TVNewser got a tip earlier today regarding Tantaros. She is still under contract with the network.” Tantaros was last on Outnumbered on Monday. The central Bulgarian town of Pazardzhik banned the wearing of full-face veils in public on Wednesday in a move the local government said would prevent tension among communities and boost security. The ban, the first of its kind in the Balkan country, was backed from politicians across the political spectrum in the town of some 70,000 people, where wearing full-face veils had become common among some Muslim Roma women. "I am tired to hear that Pazardzhik is the town of the burqas. We want to say aloud that we are not that, but a town of responsible people and we...

All eyes in the crowd fell on the supreme commander of the Korean People's Army. He emerged from the subway in one of this city's busiest nightlife areas with his trademark black suit and closely cropped hair. He hadn't lost any weight. "That's Kim Jong Un!" somebody shouted. Not quite. The reviled North Korean dictator, it turns out, has a doppelganger. He was soon surrounded by Friday night revelers holding up their smartphones and giggling in disbelief. Several rubbed his belly as they posed for their friends.

"Donald Trump's Secret Service detail and private bodyguards had the last laugh on Friday as hundreds of protesters swarmed at the front of a San Francisco airport hotel trying to block him from coming in for a speech at the state Republican Party's annual convention. Instead of partnering with uniformed police in riot shields trying to push the hordes back, they did a law-enforcement head fake – leading the billionaire across a grass highway median and in a back-door loading dock at the Hyatt Regency hotel in the suburb of Burlingame. The move left Trump feeling like he was crossing...
