Reacting to Democrats who had a fit over the fact she has guns in her home, a Colorado congresswoman says her colleagues across the aisle are "too busy mocking the Constitution" to get their work done. The reaction from U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., came after a virtual hearing that disintegrated into a diatribe against the Second Amendment, which, Boebert pointed out, is part of the Constitution that Democrats swore an oath to uphold. "Rather than having a productive debate about policy … Democrats were too busy mocking the Constitution and disrespecting the everyday Americans that I was elected to...

The US Attorney for Washington DC has launched a federal excessive force investigation into the death of the Trump-supporting Air Force veteran who was shot dead when rioters breached the US Capitol. The office of Michael Sherwin, the Acting US Attorney for the District of Columbia, confirmed a formal probe is underway into the shooting death of 35-year-old Ashli Babbitt, according to the New York Times. Sherwin has assigned his civil rights division to lead the case, which is currently under investigation by both the FBI and the DC Metropolitan Police Department. Babbit, from San Diego, was shot in the...

Section 230, which is a liability shielding gift from the U.S. to “Big Tech” (the only companies in America that have it - corporate welfare!), is a serious threat to our National Security & Election Integrity. Our Country can never be safe & secure if we allow it to stand. Therefore, if the very dangerous & unfair Section 230 is not completely terminated as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), I will be forced to unequivocally VETO the Bill when sent to the very beautiful Resolute desk. Take back America NOW. Thank you!

Should Biden secure the presidency, it is almost certain that Americans will see their liberties evaporate very quickly in the coming years. Taking into account the resulting outrage over these developments, it is likely that heretofore law-abiding citizens will gravitate toward citizen militias and even nationalist organizations that may employ terrorist tactics. Once again, such a progression could escalate into civil war. We are most certainly already at war, although few have acknowledged this fact. I've taken some heat for comparing the first few salvos we've seen to actual military engagements and the horror that goes with them, but those...

Forgive us. We’re not buying it. The firearm industry, and gun owners in general, are leery of being put on “enemies” lists. Or terror watch lists. Or gun registries. We know these things are ripe for abuse for radical ideas like rehabilitation, re-education, indoctrination, or confiscation. It’s un-American. Period. It’s also telling that while Joe Biden is calling for the keys to the White House and telling Americans he’ll heal and unite the nation, he’s not disavowing the overt threat by a member of Congress that those who disagree with a radical agenda will be listed. He’s also not walked...

On July 1, the state of Virginia enacted the “Virginia Values Act,” which bans discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. A companion law requires employers to include coverage for sex reassignment and “gender affirming” surgeries in their health plans. According to the Alliance Defending Freedom, who has filed a pre-enforcement challenge, the Virginia Values Act requires “churches, religious schools, and Christian ministries to hire employees who do not share their stated beliefs on marriage, sexuality, and gender identity.”Though the Act provides an exemption for religious schools “owned, supported, controlled, or managed” by denominations or churches, that...

The Democratic challenger to Representative Brian Mast (R., Fla.) wondered if it was “open season” on Trump administration officials in a June social media post. The race between Mast and Pam Keith for Florida’s 18th district is now considered a toss up by the Niskanen Center. The district has swung Republican since 2016, however Keith represents a first major challenge to Mast’s tenure. Mast is a veteran of the Afghanistan War, where he lost both legs after a bomb exploded under him. Keith is herself a former judge in the Navy, and is an African American who has voiced support...

Democrats and their leftist activist organizations are being proactive in their quest to keep the swamp as full and filthy as possible and to do that they have to make sure that undercover investigative groups such as Project Veritas can’t operate within the state. Oregon Democrats passed a “two-party consent law” making it illegal to record anyone in the state without their knowledge, but Project Veritas isn’t giving up. Project Veritas CEO, James O’Keefe, has struck up a lawsuit that seeks to change this law so that investigations can resume. O’Keefe was joined by attorney Ben Barr who announced the...

I’ve had two experiences in Kentucky Small Claims Court over the last 24 months. 5/3 Bank and Home Depot attempted to bully me into accepting shoddy workmanship and a bait and switch loan snafu. I sued both in small claims for the maximum of $2500. Before I could plead my case for damages both settled out of court for $1500 and $1300 along with making right the original problems. Perhaps they would have prevailed before the judge but would have lost due to expense of defending themselves. If Twitter sells ads to conservative businesses, then limits the ads’ exposure by...

Decent Americans who are feeling perplexed today shouldn't be ashamed about it. There is good reason to be perplexed. On the one hand, in the name of health and safety, we are being asked by the government to compromise personal freedoms that we have always taken for granted: going to work, going to church, sending our children off to school, meeting our friends in our favorite restaurant. We walk around wearing annoying masks and trying to respect social distancing limits. But decent Americans are perplexed because we would expect that allowing more government into our personal space would happen uniformly,...

Our intern Alex covered this, but I’m sure you all know the drama that’s hit Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Yeah, he only posted some anti-Semitic crap on his Instagram account. Yes, it’s Louis Farrakhan, a vicious anti-Semite who isn’t all that bothered when people compare him to Adolf Hitler. That’s what he said in the clip that Jackson posted, which has now been deleted. Needless to say, that’s problematic, right? It’s wrong in so many ways, and the owner of the Philadelphia Eagles, Jeffrey Lurie, is Jewish. Jackson has apologized, but this notion that you’re not anti-Semitic, but...

On Friday, I watched Tucker Carlson talk about how many politicians are drunk on power in responding to this COVID-19 pandemic, a concern Tucker has repeatedly addressed. The first words of the First Amendment read: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech …" What is unclear about the words, "shall make no law … prohibiting the free exercise thereof" of one's religion? And then there's the Second Amendment. Its 27 words are clear and concise, needing no further commentary or regulation: "A well-regulated militia being...

On Friday afternoon, conservative Twitter "pounced" on CNN reporter Leyla Santiago who told Jake Tapper "kicking off the Independence Day weekend, President Trump will be at Mt. Rushmore where he'll be standing in front of a monument of two slave owners and on land wrestled away from Native Americans, told that be focusing on the effort to, quote, tear down our country's history." Naturally, CNN wanted to stress to celebrating Americans that they should think first of "historically marginalized groups" in this time of "racial reckoning." LEYLA SANTIAGO: Fireworks, parades, ceremonies. The celebration of U.S. independence once declared by founding...

In an interesting American Thinker piece entitled "How to Fight the Woke – and Win," the author included a piece of advice called "Become Anti-Fragile" as follows: "In war, you must always secure your supply lines. One of the Woke's most powerful weapons is economic pressure, so take that away from them as much as possible. … Being anti-fragile will allow you to stand firm when you need to speak the truth." [Emphasis added.] (Continued below)

The NFL reportedly plans to play a song titled, Lift Ev’ry Voice And Sing, also known as the Black National Anthem, prior to every season opening game this year. The song, according to a source to ESPN, will be played prior to the Star-Spangled-Banner. According to ESPN: Early last month, commissioner Roger Goodell in a video admitted that the league had erred in how it handled peaceful NFL player protests of police brutality and systemic oppression. Goodell condemned racism and affirmed that Black lives matter, pledging his allegiance to the players in the battle for equal justice under the law....

Ray Ciccarelli announced the end of his NASCAR career Wednesday following NASCAR's decision to allow kneeling during the national anthem and to ban Confederate flags from all events. Ciccarelli, 50, posted this message to Facebook: Well its been a fun ride and dream come true but if this is the direction Nascar is headed we will not participate after the 2020 season is over , I don't believe in kneeling during Anthem nor taken ppl right to fly whatever flag they love. I could care less about the Confederate Flag but there are ppl that do and it doesn't make...

For the many political and social activists inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, erasing history is a perfectly acceptable remedy to the many systems of oppression in the institutions of America. First and foremost, movies and television series that don’t fit a very specific social justice viewpoint must be expunged. “Gone with the Wind” has been removed from HBO’s streaming service. The shows “Cops” and “Live PD” have both been canceled by their respective networks. Now, Amazon may soon follow suit by removing the beloved ’80s action-comedy series “The Dukes of Hazzard” from its streaming service.

As America reels from the one-two punch of the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting economic devastation, followed by the third strike of rioting over the death of a black man in police custody in Minneapolis, country-rock superstar Charlie Daniels says there are things only God controls. But it doesn't hurt to own a 12-gauge. In his latest Soap Box column, he said politicians are trying "to take advantage" and media are trying "to scare us even more than we are already." "The pandemic, the economy, the seeming shutdown of almost everything along with the violence on the streets is enough...

During President Donald Trump's nationwide address on Monday evening, he announced his intent to use all federal resources to help stop the rioting and looting that's taking place across the country. He also mentioned that he would protect the rights of law-abiding citizens, including the right to keep and bear arms. Naturally, progressives and those who hate the Second Amendment were up in arms over the mention of the Second Amendment.
