Well, isn’t this rich. Politico is reporting that Planned Parenthood has hired crisis management firm SKDKnickerbocker “as it scrambles to deal with the ongoing scandal”: SKDKnickerbocker is no newbie to working on Planned Parenthood issues. The Democratically aligned firm is run by well-connected operatives, including Anita Dunn and Hilary Rosen. It also worked with the group during the 2012 election cycle, according to SKDKnickerbocker’s website. SKDKnickerbocker is also the group Susan G. Komen for the Cure hired in 2012 when it was trying to fend off Planned Parenthood after deciding to break financial ties with the abortion giant. At the...

The latest sting video from the “Human Capital” documentary web series produced by the Center for Medical Progress is the most disturbing one yet. The horrific footage includes technicians picking over aborted baby parts, and is being described by horrified viewers on Twitter as “Godless,” “evil,” and “demonic.” The video also includes new admissions from Planned Parenthood leadership about the illicit pricing structure. One technician featured in the video fainted on the job on her first day — a reaction apparently not uncommon for people in the industry. <-- PJM_300_by_250_middle --> Holly O’Donnell, a licensed phlebotomist, didn’t realize what she was...

Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Ben Carson led conservatives in a rally against Planned Parenthood Tuesday, following the publication of three videos detailing the organization's sale of organs harvested from aborted fetuses. "Today the U.S. Department of Justice should open a criminal investigation into whether Planned Parenthood nationally is a criminal enterprise breaking the law," Cruz said on the lawn on the Capitol. But the Texas senator was skeptical this would happen, adding "the Obama Justice Department in acting as little more than a partisan arm of the Democratic National Committee." Cruz is backing Sen. Mike Lee's, R-Utah, attempt...

President Obama said that if he could run for a third term he thinks he would win, while calling for African leaders to adhere to term limits during a historic speech before the African Union. “I actually think I’m a pretty good president. I think if I ran, I could win. But I can’t,” Obama said in Ethiopia on Tuesday. ” There’s a lot that I’d like to do to keep America moving, but the law’s the law.”

When the Supreme Court ruling came down in late June, extending the right to marriage to members of the same sex in all 50 states, some observers felt that the Catholic Church was fairly immune to any requirements that it would have to allow same-sex weddings before her altars. Now, though, calls for the Church to allow such nuptials are bubbling up. How far they will get is another question. The issue was raised Tuesday by a report in the New York Times that featured “gay and transgender Catholics” who are making noises with the approaching visit to these shores...

The attack targets are shifting. Security experts say that the politically motivated attack on Planned Parenthood this week is only the latest example of a move for some hackers from financially motivated to ideological attacks. Planned Parenthood confirmed that it was the victim of a cyberattack and it has contacted the Department of Justice and the FBI. The attack, first reported by the Daily Dot, was politically motivated by a hacking group calling themselves 3301 who say they oppose Planned Parenthood's abortion practices. The hackers used a Blind SQL method (which attacks the SQL database with queries to retrieve data)...

WASHINGTON – Just days after publicly calling the majority leader a liar on the Senate floor, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has upped the stakes in his war on GOP brass by accusing Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., of spearheading the effort to keep taxpayer funds going to Planned Parenthood. In a statement that mentioned “gruesome videos of senior officials of Planned Parenthood discussing the selling of body parts of unborn children,” Cruz blasted McConnell for blocking an amendment by Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, to defund the abortion provider.

On Tuesday the third undercover video of Planned Parenthood's despicable practices was released by the Center for Medical Progress, but as the blog Jammie Wearing Fools highlights, some people may not see it if PP gets its way: "The material should not be aired," states a press release sent out to [North and South Dakota] stations. This absurdly transparent attempt at damage control is no surprise. The organization has been engaging in mafia-like strong-arm tactics in their all-out attack-as-defense strategy, including congressional pressure, an Obama Department of Justice investigation. and the same from the California Attorney General's office. In short,...

On Tuesday the third undercover video of Planned Parenthood's despicable practices was released by the Center for Medical Progress, but as the blog Jammie Wearing Fools highlights, some people may not see it if PP gets its way: Planned Parenthood of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota warned news outlets today that airing undercover videos from the Center for Medical Progress could violate “patient privacy.” Planned Parenthood says the videos violate laws however no wrong doing by the Center for Medical Progress has been proven. "The material should not be aired," states a press release sent out to the stations. This absurdly transparent...

From the Texas Tribune: Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston has participated in fetal tissue donation, partnering with the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2010 for a study on causes of miscarriages. The Houston facility has also conducted clinical trials in the area as part of research on contraception, HIV testing and the human papillomavirus vaccine. Soon after the first undercover video was released, state leaders ordered investigations into Planned Parenthood. That investigation has included visits to the Houston clinic by representatives of the Department of State Health Services and the attorney general’s office, Planned Parenthood officials...

Kansas pro-life residents are waiting to see how long one judge can delay pro-life laws. At this point it's not just the babies, but also the women, who are paying a price. The Kansas attorney general's office is trying to get one judge to move on a lawsuit filed by abortionists to prevent implementation of a new law that would establish minimum health and safety standards for abortion clinics. It's been held up in court since 2012. Kathy Ostrowski of Kansans for Life tells OneNewsNow attorneys went back to the same court after waiting three years for movement.

The latest video from the Center for Medical Progress delves further into Planned Parenthood’s grisly business of selling the body parts of aborted babies. This video was actually shot inside a Planned Parenthood clinic, which will of course make it even harder for Cecile Richards and the abortion lobby to spin this as being fake or “deceptively edited.” The Vice President and Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, Dr. Savita Ginde, can be seen dissecting a baby aborted in the first trimester while discussing receiving payment for each organ. Aside from the obvious exploitation of innocent lives...

Two reports in the past five years show that Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are placed at inordinately high levels in black and Latino neighborhoods, leading African-American pro-life campaigners to conclude that the abortion giant is deliberately targeting dark-skinned babies. Given Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger’s general promotion of eugenics, along with the “The Negro Project” that she created to target African-Americans, and her appearance before at least one meeting of the KKK, pro-lifers also conclude an element of racism resides in the DNA of the abortion giant. In 2012 Protecting Black Life, connected to the Cincinnati-based Life Issues Institute, looked...

A lawmaker in Wisconsin has introduced two bills that could eliminate at least half of the funding Planned Parenthood gets in the state. Rep. Andre Jacque is co-sponsoring legislation that will require family planning clinics, most notably Planned Parenthood, to bill Medicaid at the actual acquisition cost when they acquire drugs at the heavily discounted rates available through the Medicaid 340B program. Jacque contends that providers like Planned Parenthood, which gets over half a billion in taxpayer monies annually, are inflating rates, sometimes “eight times” the actual cost. The bill would limit providers to a “reasonable” dispensing fee, which Jacque...

In case you had any hopes of Congress ever defunding Planned Parenthood (PP/PPFA) in the wake of investigative videos showing senior employees haggling over selling baby body parts obtained during abortions, please let me dash them right now. House Speaker John Boehner told reporters late last week he wants “facts first” before voting to defund Planned Parenthood, even though many of his members want him to act on temporary defunding bills that both chambers of Congress saw introduced last week. Via The Hill: “‘I think they’re awful,’ Boehner said about the videos. ‘That’s why the Energy and Commerce Committee...

Normally when I report on a story as huge as Planned Parenthood’s baby parts harvesting, I leave my emotions out of it. Having just watch the third undercover video from the Center for Medical Progress, entitled, Human Capital – Episode 1: Planned Parenthood’s Black Market in Baby Parts, I am afraid that this time, I cannot set my emotions aside. The latest sting video is hard hitting and features Dr. Katherine Sheehan, Medical Director emerita of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest in San Diego. Kate (Katharine) Sheehan made $312,509 plus $4988 in other compensation from the abortion giant in...

Holly O’Donnell is now pro-life and is now telling the truth about how Planned Parenthood sells aborted babies. But it wasn’t always that way.In a new undercover video — the third to catch Planned Parenthood doctors selling the body parts of aborted babies — O’Donell talks about the sick ways in which the nation’s biggest abortion business exploits unborn children even after killing them in abortions.O’Donnell, a licensed phlebotomist, unsuspectingly took a job as a “procurement technician” at the fetal tissue company and biotech start-up StemExpress in late 2012. That’s the company that acts as a middleman and purchases the...

A second video alleging Planned Parenthood’s gruesome selling of fetal body parts surfaced last week. And once again we find a senior executive of the organization, Dr. Mary Gatter, willing to put women’s lives at risk in order to make more money for the organization and for themselves. As Gatter explains, “I wouldn’t object to asking Ian, who’s our surgeon who does the cases, to use an Ipas [manual vacuum aspirator] at that gestational age in order to increase the odds that he’s going to get an intact specimen.”“Intact specimens”, you see, are worth more money. And Planned Parenthood gets...
