MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. - Potential presidential candidate Fred Thompson will hold his first Alabama fundraiser Monday evening at the Mountain Brook home of Jim Cooper. Cooper, who's president of Cooper Construction Company, said he was pleased to host Thompson's first event in Alabama. Cooper said tickets for the "Friends of Fred Thompson" event are $1,000 per couple.
