Obama administration confirms that it was not Inner core or Outer core Al-Qaeda, but more likely Mantle (most likely rigid, not stiffer) or crustal elements --- possibly even sedimentary in nature. /sarcasm. Honestly, does anyone buy this attempt by the Obama administration to try and differentiate without making a difference in regards to the attack on the U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya? After reading the David Kirkpatrick's NYT piece this evening, I decided to do a little cross-checking/fact-checking, as my web search came up bupkis. Specifically, I found no mention of a key suspect in the Benghazi attack in either the NYT piece nor any critique thereof. The suspect in question: Muhammad Jamal al Kashef. It didn't take long to find the UNSC addition of al Kashef to the Al-Qaida Sanctions List, as it had occurred in October and was easy to find. I also found several other casual 'honorable mentions' thereof such as this piece from Long War Journal in February...

In the 100 E-MAILS released by the Obama administration relating to Benghazi, THERE WAS NO MENTION OF THE YOUTUBE VIDEO IN ANY OF THEM.

Federal officials say they've arrested a Kansas man who allegedly wanted to set off a suicide bomb at the Wichita airport. Officials were to announce details of the case at a news conference at 2 p.m. ET in Wichita. In advance of the news conference, an official familiar with the case told NBC News that the suspect was "an older white man," who became radicalized after reading extremist Islamic material on the web.

A 58-year-old airport worker was charged Friday with allegedly planning a suicide bombing at a passenger terminal at the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport in Kansas. US authorities today announced the arrest of Terry Lee Loewen, 58, of Wichita, Kan. Loewen had attempted to detonate a car bomb at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport, authorities said.
