Historically, the party that occupies the White House loses seats in the midterm elections although there have been several notable exceptions to this rule. And if 2018 proves to be one of those exceptions and the Republicans gain seats in the midterms, Charlie Savage of the New York Times already has an excuse at hand: Russian meddling. Savage provided this excuse to the potential sore losers a full eight months before the midterms in his March 3 article, What if Republicans Win the Midterms?

Have you ever wondered why liberals, particularly activist liberals, are so angry all the time? It’s not that they’re angry people, or at least it’s not just that they’re angry people, it’s for a different, very important reason – anger overrides logic. Anger is kryptonite to logic, and for liberalism to work, to attract a large audience, logic has to be overridden. You’ve undoubtedly heard at least some of the news over the past few years coming out of college campuses, the shout-downs and the riots when an Ann Coulter or Ben Shapiro go to a school to commit the...

CNN counterterrorism analyst Phil Mudd is known for making provocative on-air remarks and generally being fired up during segments. A CNN appearance on Friday, however, may end up being his most notorious yet. Hours after the controversial Nunes memo dropped, Mudd indicated that the FBI was going to take matters into its own hands and make sure they eventually come out on top in a head-to-head battle with the president. With the FBI and its director already making their objections to the memo — which purports to show FISA abuses within the Russia probe — crystal clear before its release,...

Nearly 200 House Democrats have access to read, and have the legal immunity to release, a document that rebuts Republican claims of “FISA abuse” that is expected to become public soon, setting the scene for a potentially historic leak as angry Democrats decide how to respond to the GOP memo. The White House signaled Thursday it will allow the release of the four-page memo drafted by House Intelligence Committee Republicans after two weeks of intense political debate, over the objection of the FBI and Democrats who say it misrepresents classified information.

Illegal alien activists say they are “outraged” after Senate Democrats did not leave the federal government shut down in order to force a deal whereby millions of illegal aliens are given amnesty at the expense of American citizens. In a protest outside of the U.S Capitol, open borders advocates and illegal alien activists slammed Democrats after they originally shut down the federal government to push amnesty for illegal aliens, but then caved to President Trump and voted to reopen the government without an amnesty attached to the funding bill. Illegal aliens shielded from deportation by the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood...

I saw coverage of some of the Women's March on TV and Internet this weekend. In my area, New Jersey, there was a huge one in Morristown, a Republican stronghold and all the women there looked angry, bitter, agitated. Saw them talk about "white male privilege", "whiteness", "toxic masculinity", "police brutality", and the other left-wing buzzwords. How did some suburban white women get so agitated over Hillary Clinton's failed presidential bids? Aren't suburban women historically conservative?

Democratic Sen. Cory Booker seethed with anger over Trump’s alleged “shithole countries” comment during a hearing with Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. During a hearing in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Nielsen faced numerous questions about Trump’s alleged insistence that countries like Haiti and African countries are “shithole countries.” “I hurt,” Booker cried. “When Dick Durbin called me I had tears of rage when I heard about this experience in this meeting.” “For you not to feel that hurt and that pain and to dismiss some of the questions of my colleagues saying, ‘I’ve already answered that line of...

en. Cory Booker, D-N.J., was enraged during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday and admitted he was "seething with anger" over President Trump's alleged "shithole comments" and a Cabinet official's statement that she did not recall the incident. “I had tears of rage," Booker bellowed at Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen in reference to when he first heard of Trump's "shithole countries" remark last week. "And for you not to feel that hurt and that pain and to dismiss the questions of my colleagues, with tens of millions Americans hurting right now because they're worried about what happened...

Democrats insisted President Donald Trump should send them a 'shorter list' of immigration priorities — so he sent them on Friday a new copy of his October 8 priorities 'plus' a new cost estimate for his border wall.... Sen. Dick Durbin issued an angry response to Trump’s tough negotiating style: "It’s outrageous that the White House would undercut months of bipartisan efforts by again trying to put its entire wish-list of hardline anti-immigrant bills—plus an additional $18 billion in wall funding. Durbin also tried to blame Trump for the Democrats’ refusal to offer any significant border security upgrade, or to...

Santa Trump gave American taxpayers a gift that they should have been thrilled and thankful to receive. Yet polls — starting from before the plan was actually passed — show that Americans hated the idea of a tax cut. Quinnipiac’s poll, for instance, showed that just 25 percent of voters approved the plan. Other surveys — by ABC News and The Washington Post, CNN, Morning Consult and YouGov — put approval only slightly higher. But those were still nowhere near the support that past tax cuts received. President Reagan’s first tax cut, in 1981, got a 51 percent approval rating....

Boy, are they annoyed: Democrats are pooh-poohing the avalanche of announcements by major corporations that they’re giving their workers bonuses and raising wages after the passage of tax reform. It’s classic left-wing disdain for anything big business does, even when it’s rewarding its workers — and even when those reaping the benefits include the Democratic cheerleading squad at MSNBC.Following President Trump’s signing of the act, which lowers the corporate-tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent, leading companies began — in his words — “showering their workers with bonuses.”AT&T announced $1,000 bonuses for its 200,00 workers. So did Sinclair, the nation’s...

President Trump's political dalliance with "Chuck and Nancy" already is running into problems, as the top congressional Democrats balk at the president's new terms for a deal to help the roughly 800,000 young illegal immigrants known as 'Dreamers.' “This proposal fails to represent any attempt at compromise,” House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said in a joint statement, after the administration announced the demands Sunday night.

Clinton: ‘Sometimes I Yell at the TV’ Because of Trump BY: David Rutz September 12, 2017 7:08 am Hillary Clinton gets so frustrated with President Donald Trump at times that she yells at her television. Clinton, whose new book What Happened comes out Tuesday and delves into her stunning election defeat at Trump's hands, told NPR that she was prepared to be president and that Trump has been "played" on the world stage. Asked if she ever watched the news and wondered what she would do in a particular situation, Clinton laughed. ""No, I do it every single time! Look,...

President Donald Trump‘s reported decision to end DACA — the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy that offers work permits to people who entered the country illegally as minors — has incensed the internet, with politicians, everyday Americans and people who have benefitted from the program expressing shock and disgust over the move expected to be officially announced Tuesday. Sen. Bernie Sanders forcefully condemned the news on Twitter Sunday night, saying that if Trump indeed ends the program “it will be one of the ugliest and cruelest decisions ever made by a president in our modern history.” “Taking legal protections away...

TRENTON, Nov. 29— Democrats today abandoned their effort to keep Christine Todd Whitman from becoming governor of New Jersey, acknowledging that they had found no proof that she won the election because of efforts to suppress minority voting. From the start the Democrats had acknowledged that their civil suit was a long shot with only the slimmest of chances of preventing the Jan. 18 inauguration of the first woman ever elected Governor of New Jersey. Still the decision to back off from the suit, a week before a judge was scheduled to rule, was important both legally and politically for...

Hollywood stars took to social media Wednesday to express outrage over President Donald Trump’s announcement that transgender people will not be allowed to serve in the U.S. military, reversing former President Obama’s decision last year allowing them to do so. “After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military,†President Trump tweeted Wednesday morning. “Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical cost and disruption that...

RUSH: You know the best way to illustrate the reaction here? Trump goes to the Boy Scout National Jamboree yesterday. There’s 30,000 or 40,000 scouts there. They all have parents that send them there, and you know, for the longest time the left hated the Boy Scouts. The Boy Scouts were rooted in Christian morality, good deeds, manners. The left decided, “We can’t have this! That’s an obstacle in the direction we want to go.” So they started pressuring the Boy Scouts to begin to accept gays and the Girl Scouts to accept lesbians. President Trump addresses Boy Scouts at...
