A recent outbreak in China of a new strand of coronavirus may be linked to an objectively disgusting Chinese delicacy called bat soup, according to reports. Video footage online shows an entire cooked, dead bat sitting in soup. Scientists believe that the virus, which has killed 17 and infected over 640 people, could have spread from snakes or bats. Is this bat soup the cause of the quickly-spreading virus?

Now that the election is in the past, and we now have the insight of looking back, do you think any of the other Republican candidates running for congress could have won the general election against Hillary? If so, which other candidate(s) do you think also would have defeated Hillary, and which important swing states that Trump won or lost do you think they would pick up?

Here’s a simple question that desperately needs an answer. Donald Trump won the Arizona primary in a landslide, 47.1 percent to Ted Cruz’s 24.9 percent, giving the GOP front-runner all 58 of that winner-take-all state’s delegates. Right now, the Cruz campaign is engaged in a “furious” on-the-ground campaign in Arizona – and in other states won by Trump, including Louisiana, Georgia and Tennessee – to convert Trump delegates into Cruz delegates on a second ballot, should there be a contested GOP convention this summer. The question is: Is this moral? Trump calls it “crooked as hell.” But let’s back up...

Is Russia breaking the Geneva Convention by using deadly white phosphorus in Syria? Claims that images and footage show incendiary being dropped on civilians Numerous reports claim that Russia has dropped deadly white phosphorus on civilians in northwest Syria, as its intensive bombing campaign against ISIS continues. The chemical weapon is banned under the Geneva Convention, because it is highly toxic and can burn through flesh and bone. White phosphorus, an incendiary also known as WP, is used by armies to illuminate targets during the night or as a smokescreen during the day. Shocking images posted to Twitter show the...

[snip] Giuliani transformed a city whose budget and workforce were larger than those of all but five or six states. He and police chief William Bratton famously cracked down first on quality of life crimes like panhandling and public urination. Teenagers who leaped over the turnstiles at subway entrances were arrested — a departure from the practice under Mayor David Dinkins. Giuliani later quipped that the police under his predecessor had become "highly skilled observers of crime." Those turnstile jumpers turned out to possess a huge number of illegal guns, which were confiscated, and criminals throughout the city discovered that...
