Last month, in a speech to the National Press Club, actress Ashley Judd took a break from taking on Sarah Palin and set her sights on business practices in her home state. Judd referred to the mountain top removal of coal in Kentucky as “environmental genocide,” called the process “the state-sanctioned, federal government supported, coal industry operated, rape of Appalachia,” and said the miners should be retrained to take “better jobs” (unfortunately the “vacuous actor” career field is full up at the moment). On Wednesday, the coal industry sponsored a golf tournament at StoneCrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and...

To all of you hunters and organic food gatherers (subsistence users) out there, the Alaska Board of Game has ensured that the empty spot on your plate next to the mashed potatoes will be filled with moose or caribou meat. According to the Anchorage Daily News, yesterday, the Alaska Board and Game ruled 4 to 3 to eliminate the anti-wolf hunting/trapping "buffer zone" that extended beyond the Denali National Park borders.

I've always found history intriguing, but it's also useful for debunking myths. Even stories that are obscure are useful for highlighting certain facts or lost notions. I'm sick of seeing Sarah be smeared by all corners of liberal media. That's all I really have to say. This story about lobo the wolf is an interesting one, but the pictures are(of course) the part that's worth a thousand words.

Ashley Judd is an idiot Ashley Judd has become an embarrassment to the state of Kentucky. If you have ever watched Jerry Springer or America's Dumbest Criminals, you realize how difficult that is to do. She has stopped drinking the cool aid and started eating the powder straight from the package. In September she declared that “a woman who votes for McCain-Palin is like a chicken voting for Colonel Saunders.” Now she is in an ad for a far left animal rights group protesting Governor Palin´s support for aerial wolf hunting. Ashley Judd seems to still be suffering from Palin...

Actress Ashley Judd says a wolf management program backed by Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is "incredibly savage ... it's not right, it's not appropriate, it makes no sense on any level." Appearing on CNN's "Larry King Live," Judd repeated her criticism of a program that allows hunters firing from aircraft to shoot wolves to thin the numbers of the animals. Judd recently appeared in a video for the Washington-based Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, which also opposes the Palin-backed aerial hunting program. Referring to the former Republican vice presidential candidate by name in the video, Judd says that Palin is...

Sarah Palin has hit back at actress Ashley Judd for her criticisms of the effort to pare back the Alaskan wolf population for the protection of caribou. Scoffing at advice from “far east coast politicians,” Palin reminded Judd and her Defense of Wildlife Action Fund that Alaskans relied on healthy caribou populations for food — especially in economically trying times. She also accused Judd of manufacturing outrage to stoke donations to her group: Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s support for aerial wolf-hunting has sparked a heated cross-country war of words between the governor and an environmental ad campaign fronted by the...

Oh, this should be good. Really good. One of Hollywood’s hottest actresses versus America’s hottest governor. Actress Ashley Judd and Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund have teamed up to target Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s environmental record. They’re upset because Palin allegedly promotes the aerial killing of wolves in Alaska. “It is time,” Judd says, “to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery.”

You would think that if Ashley Judd and the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund were going to take on Sarah Palin that they would atleast have some facts and basic knowledge about the subject they are so upset about. What is it that they are so upset about? Aerial hunting of wolves, obviously.

Courtesy of Jammie Wearing Fool, who notes that "she sounds like a blithering idiot." It's so nice to live in America again? What does that mean from Judd's rabidly pro-abortion standpoint? Apparently, Ms. Judd is breathless over the excitement that American taxpayers will be funding the killing of innocent children not just at home, but abroad as well. I'm sure it all reminds you of the good old days, right? Among the millions of people who are excited by the election of President Obama is Ashley Judd, as she demonstrated at the 40th birthday luncheon for NARAL Pro-Choice America at...

...After a brief slide show featuring Bush and other anti-abortion politicians, during which the crowd booed and hissed, Judd remarked, “It’s so nice to live in America again.”...

Josh Trevino (a la Tacitus) wrote this account of uber-celebrity Ashley Judd on a trip to Africa. Someone's lawyers didn't like it - so it was removed from its initial page. Luckily for the world at large - I saved a copy. Whom the Gods Would Destroy....They first make jaw-droppingly attractive and immensely famous. Exhibit A: Ashley Judd, world-renowned actress, would-be leftist political agitator, and self-regarded humanitarian. I see in the latest issue of Glamour -- because someone showed me -- that Ms Judd has had some troubles. Deeply personal troubles. Inner, psychological troubles, including Ò[c]odependence in my relationships; depression;...

Beautiful young actress Ashley Judd went to Washington last weekend wearing a crucifix and a trendy little T-shirt that boasted: "THIS IS WHAT A FEMINIST LOOKS LIKE." The Associated Press snapped a photo of Ashley, honored guest of the "March for Women's Lives," which has been widely disseminated on the Internet. Pro-abortion leaders must be ecstatic. In a sea of angry (Hillary Rodham Clinton), haggard (Cybill Shepherd) and ghoulish (Whoopi Goldberg) women shaking their fists and waving coat hangers, Ashley's pretty smile helped put a softer, gentler and more glamorous spin on the morbid march for "reproductive rights." Ashley's message to millions...

Hollywood, CA — The pro-abortion Feminist Majority Foundation on Monday launched its nationwide "Never Go Back" campaign, which aims to keep abortion legal in the United States. And it's receiving help from several of Hollywood's elite actresses and musicians. Katherine Spillar, executive vice president of the abortion advocacy group who spoke at the campaign launch, said that the Supreme Court could have vacancies as soon as this summer, and those vacancies could threaten Roe v. Wade. Spillar emphasized the importance of Senate leadership — especially pro-abortion Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) — in questioning all of President Bush's judicial...
