It is sad and sickening to see the politicization of Ocean City marinas — and maybe soon, the sky above them — with the proliferation of Trump flags (and banners?)...

When visiting the beautiful marinas and restaurants surrounding these rich folks' yachts, it becomes difficult to digest our food. Having spoken to others, we realize many others feel the same way.

In trying to make the case that Democrats are tougher on protecting the border than Republicans, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi referred to the Sept. 11 attacks as merely an “incident.” That “incident,” of course, killed nearly 3,000 Americans in the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil. Pelosi’s comment came during a discussion about the Trump administration’s positions on immigration and its claims about how Democrats are weak on border security. The California Democrat made the case that Republicans aren't actually that strong on this issue because they did not implement some of the recommendations from the 9/11 Commission. “We...

Obama made a big speech in South Africa, and all I can think is, Same old Obama. His techniques are all there: nods to the opposition, odd things thrown into sequences of events to deflect attention from his record, and a view of the world that hasn't changed a bit since his days of reading Tom Friedman. Heck, he probably still reads Tom Friedman, and golfs with him out on the tony, gated links, too. He blathers on about the wonders of globalism and technology, and then takes credit for all of the "progress." Progress, progressivism, get it? He calls...

Therese Patricia Okoumou, the woman who scaled the Statue of Liberty on Independence Day in protest of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, explained Thursday that former first lady Michelle Obama motivated her. Okoumou appeared in federal court Thursday, pleading not guilty on charges of trespassing, interfering with agency functions and disorderly conduct. Okoumou, who was surrounded by approximately 50 supporters during her roughly six-minute hearing, told a federal judge she understood the counts against her. Court papers also charged Okoumou with resisting arrest by refusing to leave the perch where Lady Liberty's feet stand, roughly 100 feet above ground. She was...

Michael Bloomberg is revving up to run for president in 2020, making him both the oldest and richest person to seek the job. A source close to the former three-term mayor says the move is fueled in part by regret that he didn’t stay in the race in 2016, because he feels he could have either won outright or prevented Donald Trump from winning.

As they did last week along with the other networks, ABC led its Monday morning Good Morning America by hyping complaints from Democrats and liberals about the Trump Administration border policy. Correspondent Marcus Moore’s report even touted a celebrity’s curse-filled rant at the GOP without acknowledging the profanity. GMA started off its obsessive negative coverage with a report by White House correspondent Cecilia Vega, noting disapproval from first ladies Bush and Trump. “This is a policy that’s just eating away in terms of controversy at this White House,” Vega hyped, before adding that both Melania Trump and former First Lady...

Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election in part because she wrote off large swaths of the country. She called Donald Trump supporters "deplorable." Now, her daughter Chelsea Clinton is using similar language to describe the commander-in-chief. In an interview with The Guardian at the Clinton Foundation office in Manhattan, Chelsea sounded off on some of Trump's specific policies and "racist" rhetoric. The fawning Guardian writer, who noted Chelsea's "impressive fluency in British current affairs," then asked Chelsea for advice on how Brits should respond to Trump's visit in July. "If I lived in Britain I would show up to...

A woman attending a Tom Steyer-led town hall asked what the difference was between President Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler, arguing that the Republican president has done things similar to those of the detested leader of Nazi Germany. “Through all of this, and through the time [Trump’s] been president, he reminds me of Hitler,” an Iowa woman named Sally said to Steyer on Thursday. The line drew cheers and applause from the audience. “I just keep thinking: what’s the difference between him and Hitler. Hitler really strikes me, and you just mentioned what he’s doing to families at the border....

Noam Chomsky may not be a household name in most circles, but the philosopher and linguist has a reputation in academic and political circles for his outspoken radical left worldview. In a recent 90-minute speech at St. Olaf College (no word if Rose Nylund is an alumna), Chomsky declared that he knows the biggest threat to the world. And boy, is it a doozy! So, is the truest threat to the world North Korea? Is it Iran or ISIS? How about Russia or China? Nope. According to Chomsky, nuclear war and climate change are pretty scary, but the big threats...

It’s official: The Republican tax reform bill is dead on arrival in the Senate now that John McCain has become the third Republican senator to confirm that he plans to vote against it. What’s worse for the Trump administration, McCain reportedly wants the bill to receive input from both parties – a criticism that he cited as his reason for voting against the Trump administration’s plan to repeal and replace Obamacare. This is particularly problematic because there’s approximately zero chance that any Democratic lawmakers will break ranks to vote with Republicans, despite President Donald Trump repeatedly saying that he expects...

President Trump is not leading, according to former Vice President Joe Biden. "We are living through a battle for the soul of this nation," Biden wrote in an op-ed for The Atlantic - and Trump is not up to the task. The former vice president, like many Americans, is dismayed by Trump's response to the violence that transpired in Charlottesville, VA a few weekends ago. One young woman died in that confrontation between white supremacists and counter protesters. Trump, critics say, fumbled his message condemning the racist neo-Nazi groups. By calling out "many sides," and then "both sides" in his...

Like lemmings marching over a cliff, leftists from all over the world are descending on Berlin to take part in left-wing protests at the G-20 summit. One of those leftists is New York mayor Bill de Blasio, who skipped a swearing in ceremony for new police officers – in the wake of the assassination of a policewoman last week – to jet off to Berlin to participate in the demonstrations.

What’s more surprising about this story… that the alleged crime was charged in the first place or that you’re hearing about it at all? On March 4th in St. Paul, Minnesota, a pro-Trump rally took place on the steps of the State Capitol rotunda. No sooner had the event gotten underway than liberal “counter-protesters” wearing masks showed up and began attacking the rally participants with mace, tasers, fireworks and fists. We’ve seen these tactics of violence and intimidation by the Left at Berkeley, in New York City and too many other places to list here, so the incident itself sadly...

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg may rescind lawsuits he filed against local Hawaiians in order to fulfill the development of his prospective 700-acre estate after receiving a lot of criticism, namely from locals. “Based on feedback from the local community, we are reconsidering the quiet title process and discussing how to move forward,” Zuckerberg said in a statement, according to BuzzFeed News. “We want to make sure we are following a process that protects the interests of property owners, respects the traditions of native Hawaiians, and preserves the environment.” Zuckerberg, who is reportedly the sixth richest person in the world, was...

On Wednesday, Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA) — head of the Congressional Black Caucus — blasted the Senate Judiciary Committee’s decision to have three black members of Congress testify last at Sen. Jeff Sessions’ (R-AL) Tuesday confirmation hearing for attorney general, saying it was the equivalent of being sent to the “back of the bus.” “First I want to address my concerns about being made to testify at the end of the witness panels,” Richmond said, according to The Hill. “To have a senator, a House member, and living civil rights legend testify at the end of all of this is...

President Barack Obama gave himself a big pat on the back during his Friday press conference, the last press event he will hold in 2016. Obama opened the press conference by touting his economic and policy achievements before heaping praise on his own shoulders. “Almost every country on Earth sees America as stronger and more respected today than they did eight years ago.” [dcquiz] “In other words, by so many measures, our country is stronger and more prosperous than when we started,” he continued. “It is a situation that I am proud to leave for my successor, and it’s thanks...
