Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Wednesday on FNC’s “America Reports” that New York State Attorney General Letitia James’s lawsuit against former President Donald Trump and his adult children was a “political hit job.” Barr said, “It’s hard for me not to conclude it’s a political hit job. This is a woman who campaigned for office promising she was going to go after Trump, which I think is a tremendous abuse of office to go headhunting and targeting individuals. So I think she was targeting Trump.”

Former Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker on Thursday slammed the man who he succeeded, saying former AG Bill Barr's recent embrace of the Justice Department raid on Donald Trump flew in the face of all the wrongdoing he himself exposed in the discredited Russia collusion case. "Bill Barr continues for some reason to be an institutionalist when it comes to the Department of Justice, even though based on what he presided over, he should know better," Whitaker said on the Thursday edition of Just the News, Not Noise. "We have seen far too many examples as it relates to Donald...

Now that Rep. Liz Cheney has lost her primary to a Trumpist Republican in Wyoming, it’s time for President Biden to consider appointing her to his cabinet. Political tensions have risen to new levels since the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Aug. 8 search of Mar-a-Lago. Bringing a Republican into the administration would cool partisan temperatures and unite the country in support of the rule of law. President Franklin D. Roosevelt used this strategy when the U.S. divided sharply over how to respond to Hitler’s aggression. In June 1940, he appointed Henry Stimson and Frank Knox as secretaries of war and...

Governor Ron DeSantis this week suspended Soros-backed Florida prosecutor Andrew Warren. DeSantis suspended the state attorney because he refused to enforce Florida’s abortion laws. "Warren said that it doesn’t matter what the legislature does in the state of Florida. He is going to exercise a veto over that. He’s also instituted policies of ‘presumptive non-enforcement’…that is not consistent with the role of a prosecutor. You can exercise discretion in individual case, but that discretion has to be individualized and case specific,” DeSantis said as he announced Warren’s suspension. Andrew Warren ran to the lefty media to complain about DeSantis’ decision...

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) condemned his party’s pick for state attorney general on Sunday, following a CNN report revealing the nominee spread conspiracy theories about the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on a radio show he co-hosted roughly 15 years ago. Michael Peroutka, who won the Republican primary earlier this month, said it was “very, very true” that demolition charges were present in the World Trade Center before the attacks, during an October 2006 episode of “The American View.” He also questioned if an “elite bureaucrat” may have charges in every building in the city. “We know who was responsible...
