    I have a Lenova C440 All-in-One Windows 8.1 PC. Recently I tried to install an application from the DVD installer disc. It failed. The first part of the process, choosing the location and the type of install, worked fine, but when the disc was supposed to spin up and copy/install all the files, it just sat there with no activity.
