Evangelicals are more aware of Mitt Romney’s Mormon religion than they were at the beginning of the summer, according to a new survey from the Public Religion Research Institute. The PRRI poll showed that a majority of white evangelicals — 53 percent — now know that Romney is a member of the LDS Church. That’s a 9-point increase since July.
