Since the Michigan Chronicle, a historically black Detroit-based newspaper, thinks Dr. Ben Carson is a “house Negro”, then I must be one also. Because that’s one of the names you get called by other black people when you are a success at something, and you do not buy into “black group think”, or act and say what they want you to say. Maybe the Michigan Chronicle has not noticed that there are a lot of successful black people in prominent positions in America, because some of us have chosen to focus on performance and productive opportunities, rather than on the...

While addressing a community gathering in Los Angeles, the 79-year-old Democrat Congresswoman Maxine Waters embarrassed herself yet again. This time, Auntie Maxine smeared Housing Secretary Ben Carson as a “white-wing nationalist.” MAXINE WATERS: “Of course, there’s so much uncertainty, now with this president and with this administration.Mr. Mnuchin, who is the Treasury Secretary, who is responsible for over 36,000 foreclosures in this area, is now the Secretary of the Treasury. Standing next to him just yesterday, or day before yesterday, I’m getting these days mixed up.While the president was defending the white-wing nationalists and the KKK and all of those...

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson revealed Wednesday that his Virginia home was recently vandalized with “hateful rhetoric about President Trump.” “More recently our home in Virginia along with that of a neighbor was vandalized by people who also wrote hateful rhetoric about President Trump,” Carson wrote on his Facebook page. “We were out of town, but other kind, embarrassed neighbors cleaned up most of the mess before we returned.” Carson posted the anecdote as part of his response to the “racial and political strife emanating from the events in Charlottesville last weekend.”

“[If he] things that I am going to give him a pass, I am going to take his ass apart,” Waters said.

Because if you have power to change your situation, then you don't need to rely on them There is nothing liberals hate more than the suggestion that people with problems in their lives have the power to solve those problems, on their own, by making changes in their lives. They freak out at any such suggestion and paint it as “blaming the victim.” But it is really not that at all. It is simply a recognition that people make their own decisions and form their own attitudes, and that they have the power to change those decisions and attitudes if...

Low-income Americans will no longer be passed over when the federal government pays the bill for construction projects, HUD Secretary Ben Carson said Thursday. Carson said using a rule that has been ignored for much of the past 50 years is part of his different approach to running the Department of Housing and Urban Development. “It’s not how many people we can get into public housing,” Carson said during an interview with Newsmax TV. “It’s how many people we can get out of it.”

The funny thing is, Obama has made very similar comments numerous times in the past. Here are eleven of them. 1. At a Naturalization Ceremony in 2015 While addressing a crowd at the National Archives and Records Administration in 2015, Obama said this. Certainly, it wasn't easy for those of African heritage who had not come here voluntarily and yet in their own way were immigrants themselves. There was discrimination and hardship and poverty. But, like you, they no doubt found inspiration in all those who had come before them. And they were able to muster faith that, here in...

Here is Obama in 2015: Certainly, it wasn’t easy for those of African heritage who had not come here voluntarily and yet in their own way were immigrants themselves. There was discrimination and hardship and poverty. But, like you, they no doubt found inspiration in all those who had come before them. And they were able to muster faith that, here in America, they might build a better life and give their children something more. Here is Carson: That’s what America is about, a land of dreams and opportunity. There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of...

In an unscripted talk to employees, newly minted Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson referred to slaves as immigrants, and the outrage was fast and furious. Two sample tweets: OK!! Ben Carson …. I can't! Immigrants? In the bottom of SLAVE SHIPS??!! MUTHAF(….)A PLEASE!!!#dickheadedtom — Samuel L. Jackson (@SamuelLJackson) March 6, 2017 This can't be real. Slaves were not & are not immigrants. 2017. — Chelsea Clinton (@ChelseaClinton) March 6, 2017 Whoopi Goldberg, the NAACP and a multitude of others expressed their outrage in similar terms. Huffington Post's Jason Linkins said Carson's remark "makes one wonder how far the...

Carson was talking about the work ethic and dreams of immigrants who came to the United States through Ellis Island Ben Carson is so intelligent, it screws up the liberal leftists who believe they are smarter than everyone else. For example, the liberal left was all over Ben Carson in November of 2015 when he said, “Jefferson, seemed to have very deep insight into the way that people would react and tried to craft our Constitution in a way that it would control people’s natural tendencies and control the natural growth of the government.” Thomas Jefferson, however, was in France...

Is that what we’re calling it now? Let’s see if I have this straight. When men and women and children were kidnapped from their villages and separated from their families and packed into rickety ships for months at a time to be traded for tobacco and cotton and cloth and grain, that was immigration? When people were branded with hot irons like cattle on a ranch so that ownership of one human being by another human being would not be in dispute, that was immigration? When women were raped for no other reason than that it was Tuesday, or Friday...

Ben Carson is now officially confirmed as secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, following the Senate vote Thursday morning. The approval locks in one of the few remaining cabinet members left to be approved. The Senate floor voted the day before on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Carson, passing the vote 62-37. The significant majority vote gave Carson a likely green light to be confirmed on Thursday. Despite a controversial start to his nomination, it turned out to be all bark and no bite as his hearing went fairly smooth. The former neurosurgeon...
