I've been frustrated by biased news feeds that show up unsolicited on my iPhone when I access my search bar or sometimes when I wake the device up. I just looked and saw this: Does anyone know how to shut this off? What really ticks me off is that Apple is pushing this stuff out.

One glimpse at the massive variance between the last two days polls in swing states suggests something very odd is going on.Quinnipac: Pennsylvania Trump +2 Ohio Tied Florida Trump +3 Monmouth: Iowa Trump +2 NBC/WSJ: Pennsylvania Clinton +9 Ohio Tied Iowa Clinton +3 Or graphically... [Pennsylvania white voters: Trump, 40% Clinton, 40% Pennsylvania black voters: Trump, 0% Clinton, 91%; Ohio white voters: Trump, 43% Clinton, 33% Ohio black voters: Trump, 0% Clinton, 88% -- WSJ/NBC/Marist poll] Simply put, as The Daily Bell notes, given the post-Email-gate disapproval ratings... A majority of Americans disapprove of the FBI’s recommendation not to charge...

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) said in an interview broadcast Sunday that two of the country’s most prominent newspapers are in an “all-out war” against Donald Trump. During a radio interview with John Catsimatidis, Gingrich blasted the news outlets, saying they are lying about the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. “Both The New York Times and The Washington Post have been in an all-out war to try to redefine Donald Trump,” he said. Gingrich pointed to a Times article that portrayed Trump as often being inappropriate with women. The report relied on testimony from dozens of women who have interacted with...

DOJ personnel to receive ‘implicit bias’ training The Justice Department of said it will incorporate “implicit bias” training as part of its regular training program for all DOJ law enforcement agents and prosecutors. By FederalSoup Staff Jun 28, 2016 [snip] “Through the new training, over 28,000 department employees will learn how to recognize and address their own implicit bias, which are the unconscious or subtle associations that individuals make between groups of people and stereotypes about those groups,” said an announcement of the new training. “Implicit bias can affect interactions and decisions due to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion...

Because they know nothing about how successful people get things done. First of all, when I say the media think something is a scandal - even though no one is using the word “scandal” - here’s why I say it. You will see headlines and stories about things that seem quite unremarkable. Candidate contracts with vendor for services. Person uses certain word. Public official makes comment about this or that. The reporting may appear very matter-of-fact, but what you have to look at is the news judgment that led the media to mention it at all. For instance, we told...

In addition to clear polling bias against GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump at the national level, we see the same pro-liberal bias within the state data. It's not just in places like Utah, but all across the nation. The problem is so deep and widespread that only fools would attempt to average the datasets to assess the actual mood of the electorate. All of this data needs to be corrected prior to averaging, and if that is done, it becomes abundantly clear that Trump is likely leading Hillary Clinton by at least several points at the national level, and statewide...

Just a reminder: before the Orlando murder rampage by the Homosexual Asian Muslim Democrat, the leftist blogosphere and social media was on FIRE with leftist "spokespeople" saying it was all fine and dandy to assault and get violent with Trump supporters. Anyone remember that? Seems to have been scrubbed......

Apologies for the vanity, but for me, this episode with Trump, the La Raza judge and the RINO's running for cover perfectly encapsulates why Trump is the GOP's (and thus America's) only hope right now. The people using this incident to jump off of the Trump bandwagon are about the stupidest most idiotic people currently walking the face of the Earth. EVERYONE knows that judges can be biased based on their background and heritage, MOST OF ALL the LEFT-WING media/Democrat Party who are supposedly clutching their pearls in shock. The judge in this case has already clearly demonstrated his bias...

News that a university lecturers’ union has banned straight, white men from attending their equality conferences in a bid to create “safe spaces” is deeply depressing. News that a university lecturers’ union has banned straight, white men from attending their equality conferences in a bid to create “safe spaces” is deeply depressing. ....excluding straight, white men from taking part in these conferences completely undermines their point. How are people expected to tackle minority issues when, in the most crass manner, one of the root causes of that problem is specifically excluded from participating – as though it didn’t exist? It...

Even as he contends that Trump has a right to challenge Judge Curiel, Alberto Gonzalez writes "Curiel is, reportedly, a member of a group called La Raza Lawyers of San Diego. Trump’s aides, meanwhile, have indicated that they believe Curiel is a member of the National Council of La Raza, a vocal advocacy organization that has vigorously condemned Trump and his views on immigration. The two groups are unaffiliated, and Curiel is not a member of NCLR." HOWEVER: La Raza Lawyers of California is most definitely affiliated with La Raza. He's a member of the La Raza Lawyers of California...

Another thing up for discussion, if anyone is interested. I heard more screeching criticism of Trump for saying the pro-illegal immigrant Hispanic judge on his civil case is being unfair. According to the crying in the media, Trump is wrong for pointing out the judge may have a bias. But a few years ago, all the media could do regarding the SCOTUS nominee, named by Valerie's man child, S Sotomayor, was point out she was a LATINA who was "wise". I would question that--the Republicans rolled over in fear at her nomination--but isn't it a little two faced to say...

Just had FOX News on the past hour or so. They cannot get enough of the adulation for Muhammed Ali. I'm not creating the thread to debate the pros or cons of that position. Just want to observe: they're playing clip after clip of Ali boasting of his power and skill and abilities. And the media is saying what a wonderful fellow he was. Seems to me there is a parallel today in another arena.

After months of underhanded attacks on Judge Gonzalo Curiel, the federal judge presiding over two class-action suits against Trump University, Donald Trump finally came out and said it: people with "Mexican heritage" can't be trusted to put American values first. Here's what he told the Wall Street Journal on Thursday: Mr. Trump said U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel had "an absolute conflict" in presiding over the litigation given that he was "of Mexican heritage" and a member of a Latino lawyers’ association. Mr. Trump said the background of the judge, who was born in Indiana to Mexican immigrants, was relevant...

Apparently Trump gave an interview with the WSJ and said the Hispanic judge is, in Trump's opinion, BIASED against him. Trump says the Hispanic judge seems to hate the idea of immigration law being enforced, a wall, etc. The judge, says Trump, is unfair. Megyn then nearly screamed that the judge ISN'T a member of "La Raza"....Just a member of a group that promotes HISPANIC LAWYERS. Well, okay, what is the name of that group, Megyn? And by the way, doesn't it show a racial favoritism to promote ONLY certain ethnicities of lawyers, Megyn? Would Megyn defend with screeching a...

How in bed with Hillary Clinton is the mainstream media? Well, you can simply look to the CNN article about Hillary’s e-mail sever scandal to get a hint. The relatively long article details the results of the Inspector General’s report and tries to remain objective by showing both sides: -snip Anyway, at the end of the article, there’s this line: "Clinton violated the law, but committed no crime." Let that sink in for a minute … Clinton violated the law, but committed no crime.

Watching the local Miami media, the most important aspect of the Trump campaign ISN'T his 30 minute press conference. Or the millions he raised for charity. Or the impassioned plea from the military veteran who took to the podium.... No, the BIG story in Miami is.... wait for it....a judge released papers from the Trump University lawsuit. Now Trump DID address the suit in the presser, but his words regarding it were not part of the "news" coverage. The veterans groups were mentioned.... after the "emotional" tactics used by Trump's sales force were emphasized.

Just in time for the Presidential campaign, old friend Katie Couric has been kind enough to remind us just how little we can trust journalists, how arrogant they are regarding their unethical methods, and how the profession that is supposed to protect democracy is now a threat to it.Having failed in her effort to be a network news anchor and a talk-show host, the former “Today Show” star is now biding her time at Yahoo News waiting for a comeback opportunity. She served as executive producer and narrator of “Under the Gun,” an anti-gun documentary written, produced, and directed by...
