An apology from David Letterman was good enough for Sarah Palin - but not for protesters who demanded the late night host's dismissal Tuesday at a Broadway demonstration. "Fire Dave! Fire Dave!" the crowd of about 50 protesters chanted as Letterman fans filtered into the Ed Sullivan Theater for the show's taping. "I hope to have him see the light," said demonstrator Josephine Sarnok, 59, of Newark. "I think it was over the line." BettyJean Kling, 61, accused Letterman of using the Alaska governor's family to boost his ratings. She stood by a large plywood sign with the words "Fire...

Sign reads: "DIRTY OLD Letter MAN" Sign reads: "CBS FIRED IMUS, NOW FIRE LETTERMAN" Sign reads: "Viva La Barracuda!" Sign reads: "Political Hate Disguised As Humor" Lots of left-wing photographers and "journalists" around snapping pics and arguing with protesters. Left-wing "journalists" attempting to explain to protesters that 'jokes' about statutory rape of a 14-year-old are somehow okay. Can you say "condescension"? These left-wing reporters (on left) are 'dripping' with it. This maniac, who's labeling Sarah Palin a "Nazi", explained to me that he is the founder and sole member to-date of the "Humanitarian Socialist Party". When I reminded him...

Posted by Oscar De Los Santos and Kelly L. Goodridge on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 1:45:10 PM By Kelly L. Goodridge and Oscar De Los Santos Conservative lives, freedom and property are under assault by a volley of daily liberal attacks. The Left is perpetrating racism, sexism, smears, and falsehoods. Conservatives who counter the Left are met with no-holds-barred assaults. The MEANstream media rarely misses an opportunity to demean the Right. Tragically, six months into Barack Hussein Obama’s presidency, it’s obvious that the war on conservatism is a joint White House / Right Wing venture. The White House and the...

I bought a Commodore 64 computer in the 1980s for $600 I could scarcely afford, only to see the price of computers drop and my 64 become useless. I bought an HD radio for $300, and I find I merely use its excellent speakers for listening to classical music on demand on the Internet. The stations I want to hear aren’t powerful enough to receive reliably at Chez Cubicle. (That means YOU, WAMU.) I learned early adapters get burned. Wait two years… even three years…So I haven’t bought a DTV converter box yet. I will, but only after the local...

On Monday night's "Late Show" host David Letterman re-addressed his comments about Gov. Sarah Palin and her teenage daughter. Letterman made a more serious apology than his response last week. "I had, honestly, no idea that the 14-year-old girl, I had no idea that anybody was at the ball game except the governor, and I was told at the time she was there with Rudy Giuliani," Letterman said. The post has the full transcript and the video.

'Nervous' Letterman Brushes Off Protesters Late Show Host Jokes About Flap With Former VP Candidate Palin, Unveils "Top Ten Things Overheard At Fire Dave Rally" NEW YORK (CBS) ― While angry protesters called for CBS to fire longtime Late Show host David Letterman after his flap with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the comic brushed off the hate with a slew of jokes and a Top Ten List aimed at those calling for his head. In fact, the very first thing he said to his audience was a rib for those rallying: "Now when I call your name, please come forward...

I sent emails to several companies complaining about Letterman's Palin joke. Got this response back from Hellmann's. Sometimes they DO listen....even if just a tad. Must have been lots of people doing likewise to get Letterman to issue the apology he did yesterday. Hank

David Letterman "jokes" about Sarah Palin's teenage daughter having sex with A-Rod during a baseball game. For good measure he suggests the daughter would be of interest to Eliot Spitzer, infamous for soliciting a prostitute. If Ed Schultz condemned Letterman, I missed it. But let Sarah Palin's acceptance of Letterman's belated apology include thanks to the US military for making freedom of speech possible for all Americans, and Schultz condems Palin as "nothing but political slime." [snip] Palin benefits from putting the idea of defiling her 14-year-old daughter out there -- even though she knows it was a mistake -- so that makes her no better than Letterman, and possibly even a little bit worse. [snip]

The feud between late-night talk show host David Letterman and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is no laughing matter. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telelphone survey finds that nearly two-thirds of American adults (64%) say it’s inappropriate for comedians like Letterman to joke about the children of public figures.

The boxer dragged himself back to his corner as the bell sounded, marking the end of 10 miserable rounds. His disgusted manager leaned through the ropes and whispered into the hapless fighter's ear, "I gotta great idea. Next time he hits you, hit him back!"

Or so says one poster at freerepublic.com regarding Ahmadinejad. However, I doubt this individual lives in Iran or has any rational reason to fret about being "stuck with him". The destruction of our communities, religion, and logical thought processes after decades of indoctrination and consumer capitalism allows the modern American to personalize every struggle as their own; although they live a life absolutely free of their so called "struggles". Its the same reason our sick populace is obsessed with sports (people actually think they are on the team) and celebrities (Free Michael Jackson so he can put out his next...

Do you accept Letterman's apology? Yes No Not Sure

Sarah Palin has accepted comedian David Letterman’s apology made during Monday night’s broadcast of “The Late Show” for crude jokes made about her and her teen daughters last week. In a statement to FOXNews.com early Tuesday, the Alaska governor said, "Of course it's accepted on behalf of young women, like my daughters, who hope men who 'joke' about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve." "Letterman certainly has the right to 'joke' about whatever he wants to, and thankfully we have the right to express our reaction," Palin said. "This is all thanks to our U.S. Military...

David Letterman apologizes for his delivery of a bad joke Monday evening. The 61 year old pervert’s mea culpa was less than sincere. Letterman begged forgiveness for his poor delivery of a repugnant raillery.

David Letterman re addressed the Sarah Palin issue with a more complete apology instead of the first attempt at it which was more of the same condescending BS that we've all come to expect from this man after twenty years of shredding conservatives as a full fledged card carrying liberal (video) Here's the actual apology, better than the first but as I said last night at the bottom on the original post before the show, no apology for calling Palin and airline stewardesses all sluts.......(video2)...more
