Colin Kaepernick wrapped up his second start this season for the San Francisco 49ers, and decided to go with another statement t-shirt at his post-game press conference. Kaepernick sported a Black Panther Party t-shirt. I’ve got a screenshot of his press conference below, and you can view a slightly better shot from Cam Inman below that. Kaepernick’s National Anthem protest continues, with Eric Reid and Eli Harold regularly joining him on one knee. The discussion of it has quieted down to some extent, but he continues getting a chance to discuss social issues after games and during mid-week availability. There...

The Black Panthers emerged from this gritty Northern California city (Oakland) 50 years ago, declaring to a nation in turmoil a new party dedicated to defending African-Americans against police brutality and protecting the right of a downtrodden people to determine their own future. In the group’s short life, it launched an ambitious breakfast program for children and opened free health clinics to screen for sickle-cell anemia. At the same time, party members scared mainstream America with their calls for revolution that were at odds with Martin Luther King Jr.’s insistence on peaceful protest. […] The anniversary comes as new tensions...

Along the cul-de-sac outside Guild House West on Monday afternoon, a Philadelphia Corporation for the Aging worker loaded meals onto a hand truck. She would soon wheel it inside a Fairmount Avenue apartment building that several hundred seniors call home. The sun was shining brightly, the birds were chirping happily and, before lunch was served, a handful of residents in the affordable rental-housing community chatted in a cafeteria that will double as a polling place in three weeks. There was talk of a resident who recently passed away (meaning there’s a vacancy), but there was zero chatter about a “Voter...

The NFL is blaming its horrible TV ratings on the election, according to a leaked memo to team owners obtained by the Wall Street Journal. Every single one of the NFL's primetime offerings (Sunday, Monday, and Thursday Night Football) is down double-digits, according to Sports Illustrated. Overall, NFL viewership is down 11% this year. The NFL wrote that the drop in primetime was likely because of "unprecedented interest in the Presidential election." The letter went on to reference the 2000 election as another period of time when NFL ratings went down. The NFL is not the only one to make the...

The Democratic PartyÂ’s nominee for the Vice Presidency, Senator Tim Kaine, spent his youth as a willing dupe for the KGB propaganda machine and its active measures in Latin America during the Cold War. In 1980, at age 22, Kaine interrupted his law studies at Harvard to sign up for a year long stint in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, which was heavily involved in various types of missionary work in Central America. During this time, the merde was indeed hitting the ventilateur south of the US border. Communist backed guerillas were intent on overthrowing the pro US government in El...

Hillary and the [original 1960s] Black Panthers: The Real StoryLegaled.com ^ | Aug 19, 2003 | Richard Poe I can't take it anymore. If one more person sends me that e-mail about Hillary and the Black Panthers, I'll have to be dragged away screaming in a straitjacket. You know the e-mail I'm talking about. It accuses Hillary of helping the Black Panthers get away with torture and murder during the early 1970s. With the 2004 presidential race drawing near, the spam mills are creaking to life, flooding the Internet once more with this agitprop classic. Unfortunately, the e-mail mingles good...

A couple of days ago, a Baton Rouge rapper by the name of “Jiggy Down Tommysocks” (real name- no joke) posted a video on Facebook asking the question, ‘Where are the ‘Black Lives Matter’ or the ‘Black Panther’ boats to help folks in trouble in Louisiana? His point was that we had an influx of people in Baton Rouge to protest, but now that family here need help, these activists have been absent. And while I rarely get my own political or social viewpoints from hip hop artists, I think Mr. Tommysocks is on to something. In fact, I feel...

Newton Gun Club, a black militant gun group named after Black Panther Party founder Huey P. Newton. The Tampa chapter of the New Black Panther Party “has made an official decision” to kick out one of its members after he gave a recent television interview in which he stated his opinion of police had changed. In his interview with WTVT (FL), Clarence Jones — also known as Ali Abdul Muhammad — “knowingly and willfully misrepresented himself as a ‘leader’ of our organization,” despite being removed “from leadership approximately two months ago by collective decision,” TNBPP told the Daily Caller in a statement. Ali Muhammad is well known in the Bay Area community for calling attention to the need for police reform during the selection process of the police citizens review board. He also wants to put an end to black crime, encouraging community members to come forward after several deadly shootings. Muhammad became the victim of a black-on-black crime after a night of working as a DJ at a club in Ybor City. While walking down 8th...

Black Belt Apartheid Radicals revive the Communist Party’s segregated black nation. July 22, 2016 Lloyd Billingsley A separate black nation in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina, which would sever Florida from the rest of the nation, might sound crazy or at least complicated. On the other hand, according to Christian Davenport, professor of political science at the University of Michigan, it’s simple and sensible. “Actually, I think that it is fairly easily for African-Americans to form a Black nation within the United States,” professor Davenport told David Love of the Atlanta Black Star. “There are large...
