I’ve been trying to stay away from more discussions concerning His Eminence, but the following articles leapt out at me. All through the presidential campaign we have been watching Senator Obama change and refine previously stated positions on patriotism, on Reverend Wright, on his grandmother, on bombing Pakistan, on his relationship with Rezco, etc., etc., etc.; but for the past few weeks we have been showered with position changes on everything from public financing to Iraq to gun control to FISA. What’s going on?

Bob Beckel Seems Very Worried.

Were you watching at 6:25 when Democratic strategist Bob Beckel dropped a bomb on us? He said he’d heard through his political pipeline that a big shoe was about to drop on the Obama campaign. It has something to do with Michelle Obama. Beckel wouldn’t say anything more other than this explosive story may happen tomorrow.

Yet with all these calm political winds in his sails, John McCain will not be elected president. What lies before McCain are the gathering forces of a perfect political storm that is quietly building into a Category 5 giant.Yet his campaign advisors and the Straight Talk press corps, basking in the calm eye of this storm, seem oblivious to the intensity of the political maelstrom just over the horizon. The collision of history, the current political climate, and the forces of the conservative right are the seeds that will lay waste to McCain's White House bid. While history and the...

Two things have become obvious about the state of the Democratic nomination for president. The first is that the stars haven'’t been better aligned for Democrats to win the White House since FDR crushed Hoover in 1932. The second is that six more weeks of attacks and counterattacks between the Clinton and Obama campaigns will move them perilously close to accomplishing the otherwise unimaginable job of giving the Republicans another term in the White House. Just this past week, Clinton supporter James Carville called Bill Richardson’'s endorsement of Barack Obama on Good Friday a Judas-like “act of betrayal”. Not to...

Reporting From Inside the Fox News Green Room Written by Melanie Morgan Sunday, 16 March 2008 Hells Bells. If Howard Fineman of Newsweek and MSNBC's favorite Mainstream Media go-to guy can do his best reporting from the Green room (the holding area where guests get make-up and hair done) -- so can I. I was invited on Hannity and Colmes on Friday night to talk about THE SEDITION REPORT released by Move America Forward earlier in the day at a national press conference in Washington, D.C. before the moonbats took to the streets spreading lies about our soldiers during the Iraq...

Democrat Strategist: Liberal Bloggers Have 'Much Too Much Influence Over' Harry Reid Posted by Noel Sheppard on June 16, 2007 - 13:42. Here’s something you don’t see every day: a Democrat strategist chiding a senior Democrat official, and claiming that liberal bloggers have “much too much influence over” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada).Yet, that’s what happened Saturday when Fox News' Catherine Herridge invited Democrat strategist Bob Beckel and Republican strategist Rich Galen on to discuss recent events on Capitol Hill.To set this up, Herridge said (video available here courtesy of Allah at Hot Air): Gentlemen, let’s start with Senate...

Judging by press coverage, the greatest political fund-raising scandal since George Washington bought barrels of whiskey for voters in 1789, is the Abramoff Affair. But it’s not the biggest such scandal in history. It’s not even the biggest this week. I sing you a song of three scandals. One involves some 200 Members of Congress and Jack Abramoff. The second involves Al Sharpton. The largest involves Hillary Clinton. Democrat mouthpieces (excuse me, strategists) like Bob Beckel are trying to hang Abramoff around the necks of the Republicans. The mantra is, “21 of the 23 Members of Congress who accepted Abramoff...

Meet Maryam Massihi. The 21-year-old hooker recently stole political consultant Bob Beckel's heart--at least for a few hours, at $300 per. Then Massihi (who used the names Tiffany and Cindy professionally) and her cohorts allegedly tried to extort $50,000 in hush money from the Democratic heavyweight (he ran Walter Mondale's 1984 presidential campaign). Beckel's recent run-in with Massihi & Co. is detailed in this search warrant affidavit filed August 23 in Alexandria, Virginia's Circuit Court. Beckel discovered his young consort via the Internet (Massihi's electronic come-on is below) and paid her by check, which proved helpful when cops began probing...

A woman wearing a T-shirt with the words "President Bush You Killed My Son" and a picture of a soldier killed in Iraq was detained Thursday after she interrupted a campaign speech by First lady Laura Bush. Police escorted Sue Niederer of Hopewell, N.J., from a rally at a firehouse after she demanded to know why her son, Army 1st Lt. Seth Dvorin, 24, was killed in Iraq. Dvorin died in February while trying to disarm a bomb.

Bob Beckel on Fox re: Death Penalty... "John Kerry killed somebody."

This man needs to be off the air. I'm ashamed that Fox News has rescued him from his well-deserved obscurity. He's the vile one who makes James Carville sound like a southern gentleman. He actively tried to flip electors in December of 2000 in favor of Gore. He's been out of commission for awhile because of a venal act that backfired. Why would anyone listen to an old fool who gets blackmailed by a $1,200 hooker whom he brings to his home, bragging about how important he is. Smart way to impress the help by giving them ideas about your financial...

Democratic big shot Bob Beckel is not your usual faceless born-again. A lovable tough guy who racked up wins until his campaign to put Walter Mondale in the White House with the famous "Where's the beef?" quip failed, Beckel had convinced everyone that he was the best in the biz. He turned that into a multimillion-dollar career as a consultant and TV pundit and lived "a 25-year-long party." Life was good--except in reality he was a drunk who would say anything to duck trouble or have people like him. "I wore a mask," he says, conceding that luck was his...

Winkin', Blinken and Nod Remember Bob Beckel, the tough-talking Democratic Party strategist who never tired of defending President Clinton for his indefensible actions in victimizing women at every opportunity? Apparently it wasn't just a matter of political partisanship with Beckel, a frequent guest on cable TV talk shows. Like Clinton, Beckel risked everything – his family, his career as a political consultant and his reputation as an astute political analyst – for the private visitations of a high-priced call girl. Here's what happened, according to the Northern Virginia Journal: Between June 27 and June 29, Beckel paid a woman $1,900...
