While tonight and quite frankly the last 2 years have been depressing, I see some bright days ahead. One, they cant blame us anymore. Not the media. Not the internet scum on the Kos and Underground. Not Hollywood. The Libs are in charge of everything. They own EVERYTHING from January on. We'll see how that goes for them. I dont think the country will like what they have to offer. And second, the Washington establishment blue blood chicken little fat cat little idea GOP is done. They are gone. The future of this party is coming from outside the Beltway...

You know it’s a big day on the McCain campaign when Mark Salter is smiling. The senior aide to John McCain, known for his gruff demeanor, was practically giddy this morning on the campaign plane. He was cracking jokes with reporters and describing an optimistic atmosphere surrounding McCain. “We feel like we’ve been saying all week. We’re well within the margin or on top in all these battlegrounds,” Salter said. “We got a real good shot at catching the guy.”

Cavuto was covering Palin in Erie, Pa and said they are not giving up on the state despite the latest polls showing them down double digits. Ehhhh..the latest poll had it at 4 Neil. And the internal polls also have it close. Now America's Election HQ leads off with another merry sunshine Obama report from Major Garrett complete with a Larry Sabato 364-172 electoral college predicted victory for Obama. With "conservative" networks like that, who needs liberal?

After Shepard Smith hyperventalates interviewing Joe the Plumber....now Neil Cavuto is going crazy and throwing in the towel..."McCain is down 7 points in the latest Gallup poll....is an inconsistent message to blame??" Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Jennifer Hudson's mother was one of two victims shot and killed in Chicago earlier today. A neighbor tells TMZ the other victim was Jennifer's brother Jason. A cousin who lived nearby discovered the bodies. We're told the two bodies were found dead on the scene at 2:44 PM. When the fire department arrived and discovered the bodies, police were brought in and the home was declared a crime scene. A call to Hudson's rep was not immediately returned.

If the polls are right, and McCain is in such trouble...why is he campaigning in Minnesota and Wisconsin...2 states that went fore Gore and Kerry and ones he doesn't need to win? Is his campaign that stupid or do they know something we don't? I find it hard to believe he would be spending precious time in states like this is he was in such dire straights but then again his campaign seems to be really all over the place in terms of sound decision making.
