Texas was an independent nation from 1836-1845. If you believe that the time has come, rally in a peaceful, positive manner with fellow Texas patriots on the North Steps (the statists will be on the south steps)at the Capitol in Austin at high noon on Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 to let your voice be heard. If you believe that the federal government has infringed your liberty by violating the Tenth Amendment, by devaluation of the dollar, engages in reckless spending and borrowing that threatens your future, join us!

This is the email I am attempting to send to Boehner's email: I am stunned that you caved into the radical leftists that have hijacked our republic, especially after the 2010 election results. The Tea Party principles are the majority view of the working slaves that fund your excesses. You are now part of the problem. An income tax is immoral. A tax on spending, called the Fair Tax, which actually taxes wealth, the underground economy and criminals is the moral way to fund the federal government. Repeal the 16th amendment, dismantle the Department of Education, Energy, Fannie and Freddie...

The Austin American Statesman, a liberal rag here in Austin, (although even they endorsed Bush, after all they're not utter fools)printed letters from jobshopper and austingirl about our counterprotest to the leftists protesting Bush's inauguration. Austingirl's heavily edited letter (I insert in italics important deletions): There were not 500 protesters at an Austin rally on Inauguration day. The number was perhaps closer to 200. I was there. I was one of the Bush supporters. and am in no way affiliated with the Republican party. The Republican party had no interest in countering the leftist protesters. Like Trent Lott, they all ...

It was a bright, sunny cool 48 degrees at the South Steps of the Capitol in Austin. There were an estimated 200-300 radical leftists to NINE of us. As I walked up I heard the drumbeats and the chanting "Not my President, not my President" and I saw the empty corner of 11th and Colorado. Then, I saw Im fighing mad and my heart soared. Soon Chartwell, PatriotBill and two friends joined us and we walked to the Capitol. We took up position right behind a group of anarchists (they are official anarchists- with masks, brethren of the Seattle WTO ...

Join us in combatting the leftists who plan to march on our Capitol to protest GWB's inauguration. These vicious dolts have chosen the theme "He's not our President". They are planning a march to the Capitol and their own anti-inauguration ball. They plan to be at the Capitol South steps from 3-5PM and SO DO WE. There is plenty of on the street parking with no need to feed the meters on Saturday. I suggest parking in the mansion area 10th or 11th. Guadaloupe is a few short blocks west of the Capitol which is at 12th and Congress. Bring ...

Just got back from the mansion. We saw our President leave the mansion in a motorcade that was much larger than November 26th, the night of certification. Hundreds of people RAN after the cars to the Capitol where GWB delivered his speech. We listened on TheSarce's radio held aloft by AustinTparty and cheered throughout. We couldn't go up to the Capitol steps like we did the night of certification. An officer told me "It's a whole new ballgame". The Secret Service protection is quadrupled at least. We lined the streets and followed the motorcade back to the mansion, a mere ...

What a glorious day! What a turn-out for GWB! There were probably close to one thousand people at the President-elect's mansion. Highlight of the day, GWB arrives back at the mansion about 3:45pm. Both sides of Lavaca were thronged with excited, enthusiastic Bush supporters. When his SUV drove by, his window was down and he was waving to all of his supporters. People went wild, screaming "President Bush" over and over. Then the best part: GWB got out of his car and came out onto the sidewalk to wave to us. He looked great; tanned and rested, full of quiet confidence.

Today at noon, I met TheSarce, Anymouse, Mulder, Guido, TexanaRed, Bandera, and France4Bush at the President-elect's mansion. There was a massive Bush turn-out! Hundreds of people with Bush/Cheney or home-made signs were marching around the mansion; we're talking a full block times four. I spoke to many people about FreeRepublic. There were people of all ages. Seniors, parents with children, students. Favorite signs "Put Gore in a lock box", and many people had Sore/Loserman signs. Some of those had FreeRepublic on them and the people didn't even notice until it was pointed out to them. I said, "try it, you'll ...
