I turned to CMT this afternoon to see if there was anything on my two year old might want to dance to and was amazed at the stuff they call music. It had been so long since I listened to anything other than X Country, I wasn't aware how bad it had gotten.
X Country on XM is all I listen to anymore. I subscribed to XM online this week so I could listen in the office. How better to spend a Sunday night than FreeRepublic and X Country?
Liberals honk at my Discovery at least once a week. I am never sure of the reason. It could be the fact that it is an SUV, the Sons of Confederate Veterans tag, the NRA sticker or the FReeper sticker. I just enjoy ruining their day.
As of about a year ago you could buy them in England and get the format changed here. I bought it on tape and made copies for my nieces and nephews for Christmas. I first saw it at the Fox theater in Atlanta when I was young; I had forgotten what a great movie it was.
You do have to be careful. Right after Christmas this year I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone while shelling left over nuts. I have two Great Danes who love to eat nuts. So when my friend asked what I was doing I replied without thinking that I was feeding my dog "Brazil nuts". What I actually said was not PC. He is also from the South, but there was still a little hesitation on the line.
I have lived in the South all my life and have eaten Brazil nuts for the same length of time. I never heard them called Brazil nuts until I went to college.
Voter Advisory From Randy Evans, General Counsel of the Georgia Republican Party
We have received preliminary reports from voters across the state who have indicated that when placing their vote, and touching the screen for a Republican candidate, the box is incorrectly checked for the Democrat candidate. Another similar situation is occurring when the review screen comes up and previously marked Republican votes are showing as Democrat votes.
Anyone experiencing this problem should immediately report it to the poll officials at their polling place and should call the Legal Task Force Hotline at the Republican Party Headquarters, at 866-251-4966.
When calling the Hotline, callers should ask for Vernadette Broyles, Chief Deputy Legal Counsel
