The White House traditionally hosts an iftar (fast-breaking) dinner every year for representatives of Muslim communities in the United States, but Tuesday’s event was the first time that they have hosted a celebratory event for...

The Daily Beast reported: As the U.S. military rushes to combat Ebola in West Africa, soldiers are receiving on-the-fly instructions on how to protect themselves against the deadly virus. Earlier today, Alex Griswold told you about Wendy Davis doubling down on her campaign-imploding “Look at the cripple” ad. Or tripling down, or quadrupling down, or however many times it’s been at this point. She told Andrea Mitchell that the ad was “fair.” Oh, and Abbott is “working to kick that ladder down.” Well said, Wendy. But believe it or not, Mitchell said something even dumber. At about the 1:00 mark in the above video, she emitted this brainfart:.....

Former Housing and Urban Development loan specialist Brian Thompson pleaded guilty Thursday to stealing $843,000 of taxpayer money in a wire fraud scheme. Thompson was responsible for selling properties acquired by the government after borrowers defaulted on their HUD-guaranteed mortgages. Specialists like Thompson were tasked with ensuring the sale of these properties at the best possible price to reimburse the government for taxpayer funds made to mortgage lenders for insured loans. Instead, he funneled portions of the proceeds into bank accounts he controlled, netting himself $843,000 in the process.

With 1,600 military “advisers” on the ground in Iraq, 2,300 of our troops being deployed to the Middle East as a “special purpose marine air ground task force,” and ongoing airstrikes being conducted in Iraq and Syria against ISIS’s jihadist army, it is absolutely stunning that our military personnel are NOT eligible for certain military medals. Why? Because the Obama Administration refuses to call our fight against ISIS terror a military campaign. It’s not only outrageous; it’s insulting to the brave men and women our Commander-in-Chief has put in harm’s way, has sent into a war zone, to defend freedom....

Last May, one of the most influential conservative and religious intellectual leader in America gave a somber speech in Washington, declaring it to be “Good Friday in America for Christians.” In this exclusive two part video interview, Princeton’s Robert P. George admitted, “that was a hard speech to give.” “Christians, and those rejecting the me-generation liberal dogma of ‘if it feels good do it,’ are no longer tolerable by the intellectual and cultural elite,” says George, 59, director of the James Madison program at Princeton University. Citing the political witch hunt....

According to a shocking report from the government watchdog group Judicial Watch, Americans may be at severe risk of a terrorist attack by Islamic State militants who are operating within a Mexican border town. Further, the report amazingly alleges that Democrat Representative Beto O’Rourke may have worked to try and silence sources who spoke with Judicial Watch to alert them of the danger that looms just across the border from El Paso, Texas- a town that is within O’Rourke’s congressional district.

The man who jumped the White House railing Sept. 19 deserves the right to live in President Barack Obama’s home, just as the president is allowing hundreds of thousands of border-jumping Central Americans to live in Americans’ homeland, says a new tongue-in-cheek petition posted at the White House website. “We urge President Obama to immediately and publicly recognize that Mr. Omar J. Gonzalez, an oppressed migrant, was merely looking for a better life when he entered the White House after going over the classist, divisive and needless fence,” says the petition,

In March of this year Mary Burke, the Democratic candidate challenging incumbent Republican Scott Walker in this fall's Wisconsin gubernatorial election, approved the release of a jobs plan that, it now turns out, contains numerous passages plagiarized from the jobs plans of several recent Democratic gubernatorial candidates in other states and at least one passage plagiarized from an Obama White House press release. After BuzzFeed broke the story on Thursday, the Burke campaign announced Friday that it had "terminated" the consultant who had prepared the 40-page jobs plan. Prior to this announcement, the consultant, Eric Schnurer of the Philadelphia firm...

Exposed: Obama Admin's Former Chief Israel-Palestine Negotiator Paid $15 Million by Qatari Government Disgraced former Israel-Palestine negotiator Martin Indyk, who served in his position just prior to the outbreak of a 50-day war between Israel and Hamas, reportedly has cashed a $14.8 million dollar check from the government of Qatar recently. Qatar is known to be a fierce enemy of Israel and a staunch supporter of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. Many in Israel and Egypt have called out Qatar for fanning the flames of war in the Middle East. While serving as chief negotiator, Indyk was accused of deliberately...

ANKARA: Turkey will refuse to allow a US-led coalition to attack jihadists in neighbouring Iraq and Syria from its air bases, nor will it take part in combat operations against militants, a government official told AFP Thursday. " Turkey will not be involved in any armed operation but will entirely concentrate on humanitarian operations," the official said on condition of anonymity. The decision echoes the country's refusal to allow the US to station 60,000 troops in Turkey in 2003 to invade Iraq from the north, which triggered a crisis between the two allies. Ankara then also refused Washington permission to...

[Watch] Obama Taking Credit for Building a Coalition That Already Existed Is Not Him “Putting One Together” Hussein Obama is no stranger to assigning unearned blame or to taking undeserved credit for the deeds of others. To hear him tell it, you’d almost think he was the one who personally fired the shots that took out Osama bin Laden. He’s been a spectator on the sidelines as the situation deteriorated in Iraq, but now he’s publicly positioning himself as being behind the creation of a coalition in the Middle East and North Africa to deal with ISIS. David Rothkopf, CEO...

A top House Republican on Thursday accused the Justice Department of helping a former department lawyer duck an interview about the IRS’s improper scrutiny of Tea Party groups. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) pressed Attorney General Eric Holder to provide contact information for Andrew Strelka to the House Oversight Committee by Friday. Republicans say that Strelka’s tenure with the government illustrates a conflict of interest in the Obama administration’s investigation into the IRS scandal. Strelka once worked for Lois Lerner, the former IRS official at the center of the controversy. After moving to the Justice Department, Strelka defended the IRS against...

New emails released Thursday appear to show that a former Los Angeles Times reporter had a “closely collaborative” relationship with the CIA, submitting drafts of stories to intelligence officials before submitting them for publication. Ken Dilanian, now an Associated Press intelligence reporter, explicitly promised “positive news coverage” with one news story, according to The Intercept, which obtained emails he exchanged with intelligence officials. He added that he thought the particular report would be “reassuring to the public” about drone strikes.
