The Obama administration plans to require large employers to peel back the curtain on how much they pay men and women in a push to narrow long-standing earning gaps between the genders. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will roll out details of the plan Friday to begin gathering a summary of pay data from employers with 100 or more workers. The data will be used to identify employers that may be engaging in pay discrimination so that the agency can target its enforcement resources where problems may be likeliest to exist. Virginia is targeting 1,691 license plates bearing the Confederate battle flag in a statewide recall that will replace the existing tags with new ones without the controversial image. The Virginian-Pilot reported that it’s unclear how quickly the flag tags will disappear from state highways now that the plates are being recalled and replaced following a federal judge’s ruling Thursday lifting a 2001 injunction that allowed the image. “We’re working as quickly as possible to get this done,” Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles spokeswoman Brandy Brubaker told the paper. House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) called Thursday for an informal bipartisan group to review matters related to Confederate memorabilia in the U.S. Capitol, cutting off an unexpected, racially tinged debate over the “Stars and Bars” that had consumed the House floor. Boehner sidelined legislation that would provide annual funds for the Interior Department after Southern lawmakers pushed to get a vote that would allow for brief displays and sales of the flag in veterans cemeteries and national parks.

Since a name seems to be everything, it is about time to give a name to a third party for constitutional conservatives to rally around. The Dimwit and RINO GOP-E parties are not doing service to the consitution they swore to uphold. While we're at it, let's add a platform and principles this party should stand for.
