The political situation in the US is winding up day by day..clearly screaming louder and getting more vicious. The left are getting more insane, right down to insisting that we all pay for their health care, food stamps, college tuition...and now even their condoms!....God only knows what their next demands will be...maybe they will demand that we all chip in and get them a car...or a house, or a vacation to France...???Walter E. Williams suggested a solution years ago. I dust it off every now and then because a lot the younger Freepers haven't seen this:...so here goes: It's Time To...

Are there any Freepers who know more about this "force"?I did a search on all of FR, and nothing came up. Has there been discussions about this "force" on FR under some other name? There is an article at Army Times about the "Consequence Management Response Force", but apparently they have threatened some kind of retaliation if the link is shown on FR.

Obama was reported not to be operational without his blackberry communication device. He even had a "special", extra secure device configured just for his use. Is it not a requirement that all communications orginating from the President of the United States have some kind of transcript so as to be able to reconstruct events in case of a disaster, or a gross mistake made by our elected officials? How can any kind of transcription made from a blackberry conversation? Is it recorded? Who is Obama talking to in secret on his blackberry? Inquiring minds just asking questions....

This is the text of an e-mail I received from a friend....I thought some of you may enjoy the thought:Sometimes you are encouraged about our country's future when you see something like this. Specifically, there is an annual contest at Texas A&M University calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term. This year's term was "Political Correctness". The winner wrote: "Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end"...

All SANE Americans...(40% conservative, 30% "moderate")...and maybe even some insane liberals(21%)......are watching what is going on in Iran as we speak, and having their resolve hardened to never, ever let the "government" take away their weapons. It could be argued that the "unrest" in Iran is another gift to the United States from God as an instruction on just how easy it is to lose the gift of freedom.I personally think that the lunatic mullas's natural, primative instincts will take over soon, any desire for "world approval" gone, and they will order the killing of as many innocent people as it...

It's Time To Part Company One political question we have to answer is whether George W. Bush or Albert Gore shall be president and just which party will control the House of Representatives and the Senate. But I'd suggest that there's a far more important long run question we must answer: If one group of people prefers government control and management of people's lives and another prefers liberty and a desire to be left alone, should they be required to fight, antagonize one another, risk bloodshed and loss of life in order to impose their preferences or should they be...

O.K. since Senator Durbin stands by his seditionous comments on our Senate floor, I sent this E-Mail:This message is to Senator Durbin's staff: Quit now and find a job somewhere else. Repudiate the seditionous and tratorous comments from Senator Durbin on the Senate floor. He cannot redeam himself by claiming that he was "misunderstood" for the cameras caught exactly what he said....and he clearly compared our soldiers with nazis, communist torturers and Pol Pot. His comments were despicible and low down...and he seemingly has such hatred for Pres Bush that he would wish us be defeated by a bunch of...

To Bush Lurkers:I just heard on the news that Pakistan leader Mashariff(sp) is going to talk to Pres. Bush about bombing halts during Ramidan(sp?)....he says that it would send a "bad" message to all the Muslim world if the bombing was continued into the Muslim "holy" month.I, as an American Citizen tired of kissing Muslim ass, want you to send the Muslim "world" a message that will really trouble them.....You clean out your nests of viper terrorists, send us absolute proof that they are all dead, or turn them over to the U.S. for execution...not in a year, not in ...

Well, It is official. The United States has, just minutes ago, came a lot closer to being an honest to god police state(that is supposed to end in 4 years). The law-abiding citizens of the United States are to be punished for the acts of the Muslem terrorists.I know the routine..."if you have nothing to hide..."... you know the rest. Most people cannot see the harm that has been done to our freedoms, but just ponder this: The new law will necessarily include a massive buildup of personel and equipment in order to catch all the terriorists. In 4 years, ...

I am wondering where the Taliban is getting it's bullets. I have yet to see in any of the pictures from that area one bomb, bullet, ak47, truck, airplane or, for that matter, any facility that manufactures anything, including food. Where are they getting their arms and money to buy arms?It occurs to me that the source of the Taliban arms should be a No.1 target for U.S. bombs. If I am wrong, I know some of you here will straighten me out.

  • The Republican Party is to blame for losing control of the U.S Senate

    05/27/2001 7:55:46 PM PDT · by B.O. Plenty · 14+ views
May 25, 2001 The Republican Party is to blame for losing control of the U.S Senate WASHINGTON, DC -- Republicans have no one to blame but themselves for losing control of the U.S. Senate, the Libertarian Party said today. "Vermont Senator James Jeffords' decision to become a Democratic-aligned independent didn't cause Republicans to lose control of the U.S. Senate -- the Republican Party caused Republicans to lose control," said LP National Director Steve Dasbach. "And, contrary to the prevailing wisdom, Republicans didn't lose the Senate because they were too conservative; they lost it because they weren't libertarian enough. That's what ...
