I'm told Mason had little use for committees, meetings, and such. He had gout, was cranky, didn't suffer fools gladly and hence wasn't as ready for the history books as others. While others were grandstanding, Mason ordered all his papers burnt when he died. A historical loss, but I can't help liking the guy.
Yo bonehead: you notice how the Democrats do better in elections when Mr. Moore keeps that nasty gash in his face shut? Think there may be a lesson there, one you're missing?
If you haven't noticed the dems winning means the fence will never be built. Attaboy idjiots, you done good, not!
Sheesh, it's starting to sound like Air America around here. "Unless you agree with me 100 percent of the time I'm going to shake my finger at you and mewl." Thank you, Al Franken.
As tempting as it is to grasp at simple reasons for profound losses, doing so only sets you up for further losses down the road. The electoral picture that emerged last election is far more complicated than the one being whined about here. Learn the lessons or expect repeated results.
"Libertarianism is an ideological clique forever splitting into sects still smaller and odder, but rarely conjugating...
A line of division exists between believers in some sort of transcendent moral order and utilitarians admitting no transcendent sanctions for conduct."
-- Russell Kirk
Yeah, keep drinking the kool-aid. Use to think that the Michael Moore wing of the Democratic party was the exclusive holder of the march-in-ideological-lockstep-with-us-or-we'll-get-hysterical-and-try-to-shame-you franchise. Around here however it looks like the are opening a branch on the other end of the aisle.
