Let me see if I understand this. Two years ago, it didn't look like a good idea to clean out Afganistan but now that it is done, it was justified. We still can't tell if cleaning out Iraq was a good idea (but if we had not done it how would anyone ever know). No wonder Tibet is now part of China and he is in exile.
When my wife was six (in Philidelphia) and entered school, the teacher told her parents to stop speaking German at home. They stopped! They wanted their kids to be americans not germans.
"But the world economy may now be moving from a revolutionary period into one of incremental change, as new technologies are adapted, perfected and applied to everyday services and products." Those silly Europeans will cling to statism at any cost. There will always be unexpected and revolutionary new technology - just when the technocrats tell us that everything important has already been invented. AND it won't come from Europe.
