Nothing against the noble potato pancake, however, in my
Experience, any chick who could make a good latke, could make an even better egg roll. But old school is the way to make ‘em.
Agree. Live in L.A. seen thousands of aircraft contrails and probably about a dozen missile shots out of Vandenberg AFB. Yeah, and the angle of the missile contrails does look a little funny.
1) I’ve never seen a plane contrail that was hugely wide on the bottom and narrow on top — doesn’t mean it couldn’t just never seen it happen.
2) the pattern of the CBS contrail matched what I’ve seen from Vandenberg AFB.
3) The language coming from the military and Norad types sounded just a little too parsed, followed by a goofy “it was a plane explanation”.
As a religious man, I share several of the concerns regarding Harry Potter - the series is agnostic and the hero is rarely if ever punished for minor lapses in character. Unfortunately, the presence of several clear misstatements by Fr. Casismir do much to discredit his opinion. Just as an example saying that “mandrake roots were pieces of human babies” is substantially in disagreement with Webster, and if FR. Casismir is asking us to accept a whole separate definition of every event in the books and movie, (i.e. they said mandrakes what they meant was baby corpses), then the listener or reader better be informed that they are being asked to accept FRC’s re-interpretation on faith (as it were). I think there are concerns with Harry Potter, However, I don’t think that it presents higher risks than most other secular books and movies.
I saw the talking heads on the TV trying to explain that “Yeah if you saw it from the wrong angle —you’d think it was a missile contrail” This is such a load of CR_P. If you’ve lived in L.A. for any time you can recognize a missile contrail — we see them shot off from Vandenberg AFB near Santa Barbara — trust me the talking heads are buying the government lie — and are morons.
