My daughter, who is one of the most conservative college students you will find, would also add Dodge Ball to that list. Not intelligent but funny and also most Mel Brooks films.
I saw the incident on Fox news. The lady did not threaten the police. She told them she had a gun for protection and they took it from her. From what was shown on tv (Fox News), the police did go over the line on this one.
We really liked Tour of Duty but my all time favorite are the old Baa Baa Black Sheep. When I was young I really had a thing for Robert Conrad until I found out I was as tall as him when I was 8.
We also have what we think to be a daschund- black lab mix. She has daschund body, size and attitude and lab coloring and head. She is without a doubt the cutest dog in the world. Someone had left her on the side of the road.
I know what you mean. Gracie and Trouble hooked up but we found out when she tried to birth that she only had 1 puppy and it was so big that she almost died trying to birth it. It was one of the most traumatic (and expensive) experiences of my middle aged life. I will never birth puppies again. Trouble lived up to his name in my house.
Right on girl! When Ophelia came through last week that was all we heard. Unlike New Orleans, we know what how to prepare and we don't worry about looting afterwards either.
We lived in Freeport during Alicia and were without power for almost 2 weeks. This one looks really scary for that area. What about all of the chemical plants there?
We lived in Freeport back in the early eighties and went through Alicia. No power for a week. We left in 86 and I understand the area has changed quite a bit.
Alot of the attitude around here right now is that is only a tropical storm/category 1. What most people seem to forget is that a small storm for a couple of days can do as much or more damage than a fast moving big storm.
Just announced here (in Horry County) that there is a voluntary evacuation for coastal areas of Horry and Georgetown Counties in SC. Red Cross shelters are being opened up at a couple of schools, so no school tomorrow.
