Wow! Swastikas and a spelling error...all on the same banner! Where's Nancy "the Skeksi" Pelosi now? (I came across this photo while reading an LA Daily News fluff piece on the Communist May Day "save an illegal alien slave for the Democrats" protest HERE)

The recent news release concerning the melting glaciers in Glacier National Park seems somewhat deceptive. I am a National Park Service retiree. I started my career in Glacier National Park in 1963 and attended my first park staff meeting in September of 1963. At that meeting the United States Geological Survey staff presented the results of their annual glacier monitoring program and reported that the park glaciers were continuing to shrink. They assured the park staff that the glaciers would eventually disappear, but would not make any time predictions. The park superintendent thanked the USGS for their effort and took...

One of my readers was at a Tea Party in Texas, which was held at a race track. He sent me a picture of two "skinhead" infill-traitors. Interestingly enough, the "skinheads" who showed up at our Tea Party in St. Louis were dressed in similar garb. As cockroaches scatter when the spotlight shines their way, I was wondering if anyone had any information as to who these cockroaches in the photo really are.

As expected, we had a couple of party crashers and infiltrators. This guy in the green "Skin Head Army" cap (see photo) was spouting out all sorts of racist type crud. Luckily, some resourceful Tea Partiers were prepared for this eventuality and kept dogging him with the signs you see in the photo. It wasn’t long before the infiltrators realized they had been outwitted and made a hasty retreat with their tails between their legs!

[...] Here is what they haven't told us: The Education Department will borrow money at 2.8 percent from the Treasury, lend it to you at 6.8 percent and spend the difference on new programs. So you'll work longer to pay off your student loan to help pay for someone else's education -- and to help your U.S. representative's reelection. [...]

FOX News has a current poll in which they are asking, "What Is the Tea Party Movement About?" Personally, I think it is about small government and fiscal responsibility. However, when I looked at the results, the Lefturds and Libtards had skewed the results with 80% saying "Fruitless mix of racism, conspiracy theories." (169,536 votes)

Republican candidates lead Democrats by seven points in the latest edition of the Generic Congressional Ballot. The new national telephone survey shows that 45% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 38% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent. Voter support for GOP congressional candidates is down one point from last week, while support for Democrats is up a point. Republicans started the year ahead by nine points -- their largest lead in several years -- while support for Democrats fell to its lowest level in years. Republicans have held the lead on the ballot for several...

Alfonzo takes on Obama's SOTU speech and Chris Matthews' memory loss. As per usual, he pulls no punches.

Former Presidents George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan did not have it easy when it came to critics attacking their intelligence, while President Obama, Former Vice - President Al Gore, and Former President Bill Clinton have been hailed as brilliant. Here is an interesting nugget of new information, though. President Obama blamed himself for not being able to communicate his message properly to Americans, but a new analysis of the president's State of the Union speech, brings to light why Mr. Obama could be having problems in this area. President Obama's State of the Union speech was ranked fourth to...

ust about every election night, Republican pollster Frank Luntz assembles a focus group of likely voters to help predict election results. Tonight you can see Luntz interview an assembly of Massachusetts voters on Fox at 9:10 p.m. EST. But you probably won’t see all the work that went into it. As of late this afternoon, Luntz was still scrambling to balance his focus group with supporters of Democrat Martha Coakley. “I just lost another one,” Luntz growled over his cell phone from a hotel ballroom at Logan Airport. In the last 24 hours, six Coakley voters have dropped out. By...

This is just a reminder to everyone that Geert Wilders' trial will begin tomorrow, 20 JAN 2010. I urge you all to support Mr. Wilders' freedom of speech in any way in which you can.

Coded references to New Testament Bible passages about Jesus Christ are inscribed on high-powered rifle sights provided to the United States military by a Michigan company, an ABC News investigation has found. The sights are used by U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and in the training of Iraqi and Afghan soldiers. The maker of the sights, Trijicon, has a $660 million multi-year contract to provide up to 800,000 sights to the Marine Corps, and additional contracts to provide sights to the U.S. Army. [...]

My wife was listening to Glenn Beck’s radio program, this morning. She informs me that Glenn Beck says that the White House called his “red phone” yesterday at the end of his FOX News TV show. Evidently, the White House was upset that Glenn Beck interviewed Michael Goldfarb, author of the Offutt AFB closure threat report. In the interview, Goldfarb stood by his report. Glenn Beck, prefacing the story as a rumor, also stated that he confirmed this story with three sources. But, the White House vociferously denies the story.

US Defence Secretary Robert Gates said on Friday that he expects "significant" new sanctions" to be imposed on Iran over its controversial nuclear programme. "I think that you are going to see some significant additional sanctions imposed by the international community, assuming that the Iranians don't change course and agree to do the things they agreed to at the beginning of October," Gates told a group of US soldiers in Kirkuk, Iraq. Gates arrived in Iraq on a suprise visit on Thursday, following a trip to Afghanistan where Washington is ramping up its military commitment. [...]
