The HuffPost presidential forecast model gives Democrat Hillary Clinton a 98.2 percent chance of winning the presidency. Republican Donald Trump has essentially no path to an Electoral College victory. Clinton’s win will be substantial, but not overwhelming. The model projects that she’ll garner 323 electoral votes to Trump’s 215. For all of 2016’s craziness, that projection actually follows a fairly traditional electoral map. Trump should keep Arizona and Georgia, even though Clinton is likely to make it a closer-than-usual race. Iowa also seems firmly in Trump’s column. All three states are more than 85 percent likely to remain red. Florida,...

Well, this will annoy all the right people. Someone created a parody Muppets video where the character called “Crazy Harry,” the show’s explosive expert, shouts “Allahu Akbar” as he blows up the other Muppets characters and the set, all to the tune of the 1985 song “We Are The World.”

As Hillary Clinton was beginning her job as President Obama’s chief diplomat, federal agents observed as multiple arms of Vladimir Putin’s machine unleashed an influence campaign designed to win access to the new secretary of State, her husband Bill Clinton and members of their inner circle, according to interviews and once-sealed FBI records. Some of the activities FBI agents gathered evidence about in 2009 and 2010 were covert and illegal. A female Russian spy posing as an American accountant, for instance, used a false identity to burrow her way into the employ of a major Democratic donor in hopes of...

NOTE: Video at link As part of her ongoing “Thank God You Didn’t Elect Me” tour, Hillary Clinton made her debut on Australian television last night in an interview with the ABC’s Sarah Ferguson. Though she didn’t repeat her infamous “17 intelligence agencies” lie, which she’d continued to regurgitate long after that claim had been conclusively debunked, there were still plenty of whoppers to be heard. From her ridiculous claim that the aggressively protested DNC convention was “very positive” to her completely baseless assertion that Bernie Sanders “couldn’t explain his programs” during the primaries, Clinton did a fine job of...

They’re going to continue to speak out by kneeling down. Five Kennesaw State University cheerleaders who knelt on the football field during the national anthem at a recent game said Tuesday they’ll continue their silent protest in a somewhat different fashion, since a new campus policy prevents them from taking such action on the gridiron. The students said in a group interview Tuesday they’ll continue to get on one knee during the anthem, while they’re in the stadium hallway. “Somebody has to take a stand,” said second-year student Taylor McIver. KSU no longer allows the cheerleaders on the field during...

October 16, 2017 12:45 pm NBC has tracked down and fired the employee responsible for leaking the video of MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell's infamous meltdown, during which he cursed at his crew and yelled about hearing random noises in his earpiece during a live broadcast of his show. Multiple sources said a male editor for the "Today" show compiled and leaked the eight-minute video to Mediaite last month of O'Donnell yelling at his staff during the Aug. 29 broadcast of his show, "The Last Word," according to Page Six. In the clip, an increasingly perturbed O’Donnell slams his fist on...

The actor — whose Tribeca Film Institute took a donation from those accused of embezzlement, while his son sold the prime suspect $55 million in NYC real estate — says he would give back the money if necessary. Leonardo DiCaprio is undoubtedly the highest-profile Hollywood name connected to the 1MDB Malaysian corruption scandal, which, in addition to more than a billion dollars of alleged money laundering, helped to finance his hit drama The Wolf of Wall Street. But another A-list name has appeared several times in the same orbit as the central figures in the fraud case, which is now...

Bannon served as chairman of a small company that distributed DVDs and home videos, and went into business in 2005 with The Weinstein Co. Bannon was formerly a Trump White House strategist and is now, once again, head of Breitbart News. Several high-profile Democrats, such as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, have been criticized for their ties to Weinstein.

Harvey Weinstein may have been fired illegally by The Weinstein Company, a company that wrote a contract that said Weinstein could get sued over and over for sexual harassment and as long as he shelled out money, that was good enough for the Company. TMZ is privy to Weinstein's 2015 employment contract, which says if he gets sued for sexual harassment or any other "misconduct" that results in a settlement or judgment against TWC, all Weinstein has to do is pay what the company's out, along with a fine, and he's in the clear. According to the contract, if Weinstein...

Pedro Cortes, Pennsylvania’s secretary of state, abruptly resigned from office Wednesday, three weeks after his agency came under criticism for a glitch that may have allowed thousands of ineligible immigrants statewide to vote. Cortes’ departure was announced in a 349-word “personnel update” emailed from Gov. Wolf’s office that offered no reason and focused almost entirely on his replacement, interim Secretary of State Robert Torres. Just 14 of the words were about Cortes, who also served as secretary of state from 2003 to 2010 under Gov. Ed Rendell. J.J. Abbott, a spokesman for Wolf, said he could not offer an explanation...

Josh Norman sounded off on President Trump’s remarks regarding NFL players who kneel during the National Anthem. The Redskins came out with a message of unity before Sunday’s win over the Raiders, linking arms along the sideline — with some players standing, others kneeling — as the anthem played at FedEx Field. During a senatorial campaign event in Alabama Friday, President Trump spoke on the growing list of peaceful player protests springing up across the NFL, calling for players who kneel during the anthem to be “fired,” while referring to those individual players as a “son of a bitch.” I...
