BANGOR, MICH. - A video showing a group of Bangor teachers and staff making inappropriate comments about students prompted a school secretary to resign. The commentary, heard in a six-minute video posted Monday, Feb. 13, to YouTube, shows a group of adults sitting around a table at the Bangor Tavern Bar and Grill. Such comments from seven involved Bangor Public Schools faculty include ratings of who they'd have sex with, marry, or kill.

The New York Times/CBS News poll showed Mr. Santorum commanding a lead over Mr. Romney among several important groups that he has done well with in a number of primaries thus far. Mr. Santorum leads among Tea Party supporters by 40 to 21 percent, conservatives by 43 to 24 percent and evangelical Christians by 47 to 22 percent. Mr. Romney continued to get support from moderate and nonevangelical voters and college graduates. State Sen. Stacey Campfield, co-chairman of Newt Gingrich’s campaign in Tennessee, announced today he is quitting that position to support Rick Santorum in the Republican presidential race. WASHINGTON, DC Friday, March 2, 2012 GOP Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum delivered the keynote speech at the Lake County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner in Eastlake, Ohio. He was introduced by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine, who made opening remarks. The latest Ohio Poll, conducted by the Institute for Policy Research at the University of Cincinnati, shows Rick Santorum leads Mitt Romney 37 to 26 percent in Ohio's Super Tuesday Republican primary.

"This was a terribly misguided judgement," Archbishop Timothy Dolan of New York said in an interview of CBS This Morning. Dolan, who is set to become a cardinal later this month, said he met with Obama in the Oval Office late last year and was promised the White House would work with the Catholic church on a number of issues, including education, healthcare and charitable work. "I am hoping that this massive negative reaction to this ruling, I am hoping that he will go back to those assurances that he gave me," Dolan said.
